I think doing anything and I mean anything to tie the mode into current day Raid (souls, relics, ANYTHING) would go a long way in terms of making it matter but as it stands it's just a situation of scoring as little as possible during non personals and testing the waters in PR to see if they're winnable without going too hard.

If I've got a surplus of energy/gems to burn I will try and farm SD/Shogun/event dungeon during PR though.

ok good. Speaking of CvC, does anyone even care about CvC anymore? I mean really? There's no mats or special gear to get really beyond the shield ones and shards. It doesn't even make much sense with Siege now. I get it, it's something people still spend on but eventually they're gonna realize it's like arcade tickets: you're spending 10x the value of the prize you're going for.

Not like they used to, no. You'll see whale clans battle it out from time to time but it certainly isn't the same as the olden days of CvC for the majority of people. It really isn't worth the stress, at all.

Yeah I checked Tier 6's rewards and if you get all of them (which takes over 5 million points) the only things of note are:

3 Void Shards, 1 Ancient Shard, 1 leggo and 1 epic tome. Also 400 Energy and 800 clan gold... 

Those whale clans still care about the trophy count for some reason.  Guess they wanna feel important.

I wonder if this is because of all the "Participation Trophies" that were given out lol. Also glad to hear more feedback that makes sense

More tools for Clan Leaders are in the various pipelines, so you shouldn't have to wait forever.

Agreed that having an active discord and good leadership team is how my cluster eliminates most of these communication issues.

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but maybe between Sieges we have a "Sparring" mode where we can initiate duels with fellow clan members to try out builds. Have it be like Siege tho, one member sets a team and then other members can fight that team anytime

Is there actually any talk of them revamping CVC?  Or is that just wishful thinking?

But before we move forward, we’re excited to roll out Live Arena Seasons and see how you enjoy it. Depending on how things go, unranked battles might become a reality!

edit: My interpretation of this is that they "might" allow for no-reward duels if, and only if, participation in live arena seasons, which I'm 90% certain will inevitably be terrible, is high enough that they can justify the dev time it took without having to force it by making it a requirement of daily rewards
