We plan to release Update 9.40 soon, and a whole slew of QoL improvements are included. Expanded Clan progression with new Clan Levels and bonuses is the biggest feature in this Update, but we’re also introducing tweaks to Siege, Live Arena-related quests, the Plarium Program, and some miscellaneous changes on top of that. Oh, and there will be new Champions (revealed later) and a balance patch, as usual!

Clan Improvements
With Siege Battles becoming a prominent Clan activity not so long ago, it feels only proper to give Clans more room to grow and show their achievements. Therefore, we’ve decided to introduce 5 new Clan Levels in Update 9.40 - this brings the highest attainable Level to 25 and unlocks new bonuses.
Important note: no one will keep excess Clan XP earned after reaching Clan Level 20 prior to this Update. Everyone who has gotten that far will enter 9.40 as if they had just earned that impressive milestone, and will have to gain more Clan XP to progress further.
At the same time, new Clan Levels come with appropriate bonuses: extra Silver for completing Campaign Stages, more Multi-Battles, and up to two more slots in the Clan Shop. Oh, and there are new items in that Shop as well, including Chaos Dust, Chaos Powder, and Artifact Chests that have a chance of dropping Mythical Rank 6 Killstroke Artifacts!
Live Arena Improvements
Upon reaching Level 60, players will have their Arena-themed Advanced Quests changed to one that requires winning a Live Arena Battle. Furthermore, we’ll add a separate Live Arena Quest for all players with access to Live Arena. It requires winning 1, 3, or 5 Live Arena Battles and provides rewards that include 20x Multi-Battle Attempts, 50x Energy, and a Live Arena Chest that contains Artifacts, Charms, Silver, and even has a chance to drop a Legendary Skill Tome once a month.
We are also increasing the duration of each Live Arena activity time frames by an hour and adjusting matchmaking for newer players to make their start in this PvP mode smoother.
Siege Improvements
Siege will see several QoL changes aimed at making the experience smoother. Here is what you can expect:
If a Clan destroys a Stronghold or a Mana Shrine, or if a Clan’s Stronghold or Mana Shrines remain intact at the end of the Battle Phase, all Clan Members who have set at least 1 Defense Team, won at least 1 ATK battle, or captured at least 1 enemy Team Slot during the current Siege will receive rewards of Mana Orbs. If a Clan has won a Siege, then each Clan Member who has set at least 1 Defense Team, won at least 1 ATK battle, or captured at least 1 enemy Team Slot during the current Siege will receive a Victory Chest. The same conditions apply to receiving Milestone Rewards, as well as Florins for defending a Team Slot, defeating an enemy team, or capturing an empty enemy Team Slot.
We will drastically reduce the cost of repairing the Stronghold, Magic Towers, Defense Towers, and Mana Shrines.
Attack Scroll distribution will be adjusted: The number of ATK Scrolls given per Clan will be adjusted so that the Clan doesn’t get excessive ATK Scrolls and, by continuation, unfair advantage. At the start of the Battle Phase, ATK Scrolls will be evenly distributed between all Clan Members. If the total number of ATK Scrolls (equal to the total number of enemy Team Slots) cannot be divided equally between Clan Members, the remaining ATK Scrolls will be given to Clan Members according to their Clan Role’s priority (Clan Leader, followed by Deputies, Lieutenants, and Soldiers, in that order). If there are several Clan Members with the same Role, the ones with higher Team Power will have a higher priority. There is a total of 5 additional ATK Scrolls given to the Clan and distributed by the same logic.
We’ll change the number of Victory Medals given to Clans for protecting and destroying the Stronghold and Mana Shrines. Defending the Stronghold and a Mana Shrine will now bring your Clan 1200 and 450 Medals respectively. Destroying an enemy Stronghold and a Mana Shrine will now bring you 1300 and 550 Medals respectively.
Miscellaneous
Further enhancements to Champion AI in Hydra Battles will be implemented. Damage and Ally Attack Skills will prioritize the Hydra Head currently digesting a Champion. Exposed Necks are the next priority. And, finally, grown Hydra Heads are the last target.
Plarium Points Program is enhanced with a new Promo Code, available exclusively on Plarium Play, Warm-up Card, and other small improvements. Searsha the Charred, who is obtainable via the program, will be buffed in the current balance patch. You can see the changes in the next section.
Demon Lord will refresh between 10:00 UTC and 11:00 UTC to reduce server load. This means all Clans will receive their Clan Boss rewards at some point in that time frame, but not necessarily at the same time. Furthermore, players will not be able to participate in Clan Boss Battles for an hour after switching Clans.

I am a new (2.5 months), but very active player. I am in between a minnow and dolphin. I look at guides, use tools, and enjoy optimization of the game. Things like getting Yakarl in 5 months makes sense - its a long goal, but I will enjoy getting an occasional legenday. With that preface:

I can get 12 points for free each day (9 from login, 3 from advanced quest). It will take me 5.7 years to get her, minus any packs I buy that come with points. I understand its a free champ, but that time frame is a little over the top. I would appreciate seeing a year/2years goal because, well 5.7 is just a little much ^^
Live Arena:
Look, as long as its just a "game played" sure, I dont care. I'll be a metric. If it will be "win a game" ... yeah, not looking good. I have 2 legendaries, one is bad and the other one is free lol so my team isn't exactly great. Then I can say goodbye to advanced quests rewards. I would love to see "complete 9 out 12 quests".
Hydra:
I get that my team will not be able to do Hydra not now and not for a while. It is what it is *shrug*
Final Thoughts:
The reason that P2W players stay and spend is that they get to punch down on F2P/Low spenders and show off. Therefore, if there is no community, there is no fun for the whales. They do finance the game though, so it is important to find that balance between the two. If you keep kicking the F2P players in the shins, it will just be a matter of time before a serious attrition kicks in. Remember, with the marketing that Raid has done, it's better to keep existing players than to get new ones, because the pool of those is getting smaller and the prices of the game are substantial.
Edit: I would also really really apreciate something like a 0.5% for epic and 0.1% chance for Legendaries on Mystery shards. just to give the f2p a rare chance for a good champ outside events

This is a really stupid take. Do you actually play live arena outside of bronze or low silver? I play this game far too much on a daily basis as it is, so another mandatory time sink is unappealing af. Thankfully for me my roster is devoloped enough to win 50% of my matches in Silver III, so I won't lose out on 180 e when LA quests pop up. There is no strategy when your opponent outspeeds you, has insane ACC, and blocks revive (among other conditions).
Completley agree w/Trips. The red dot should consume very few resources, and no resources that need to be used to (1) Fix Siege, (2) Rebalance sub-par Legos, (3) Fix Hydra A1, (4) Figure out how to not have 3-4 Serpent's Will Buffs up simultaneously..............and all the other real stuff.

I loathe Live Arena. Haven't done it since the first day it went active. I depend on Daily and Advanced quests for a bunch of the resources that keep me doing Fusions an other things I love in this game..... forcing me to do it to get my energy flask each day at the top of the Advanced quests is the easiest way to make me delete my account.
OMG, this could not be more true. Forcing us into Live Arena by taking away the ability to complete the daily Advanced Quest only shows your true inept and understanding of your player community. SO many players on all fronts loathe Live Arena. We only do it as a matter of principle. Now to make this a mandatory daily quest and having to win a battle on top of that when I am woefully outmatched when it comes to Arena since that is not what most of my Champions are geared for is such BS. Betwen this Hydra and the other changes...I really don't know what I'm doing playing this game anymore. There are so many other options. This is so frustrating.
People who don't do Live at all either don't care about progressing in the game (super casuals) or are just plain stupid (offense intended). It is honestly easier to get to Gold than classic arena and the rewards are outstanding. The 8 hours of limited availability has been increased 50%, many stated that this was the reason they couldn't do live. I'll take credit for this suggestion :)
And yes, making it mandatory is the only way to guarantee increased engagement. I ensure you that 100% of people "quiting" over this, likely idle threats contribute 0% of revenue and have an expected LTV of .... ZERO.

I am f2p, I get destroyed by the whale mythical rosters every day in live arena. I just don't cry about it. I'm not an entitled f2p who thinks the game should be catered to me. It takes longer to make a post on this or any forum than to win 1 live arena battle, if you crybabies put that effort into the game you'd be much better off.

My team may actually be "bad" enough / non-optimal to be only minimally affected. I expect to drop from 450 to 400ish. We shall see. Though my team is also less effective against this rotation, so as long as I don't drop below 300 I'll keep the key and hope actual improvements are on the horizon.

Okay, so we're back to the point where if my clan upgrades our stronghold, and the enemy team doesn't, they get more attack scrolls and we don't.
Congratulations Plarium, you managed to fixaddress the single most complained about aspect by making it worse.
But you also did it in a way that makes it easier and further incentivizes high-end clans to manipulate the matchmaking while at the same time completely screwing lower level players who might be interested in getting involved.
There are already hundreds of reddit posts and multiple cc vids pointing out a clan will get a significant advantage by kicking out their 10 weakest pvp'ers so that the rest get more scrolls.
And I'm *almost* positive that's the *exact* opposite of what you intended.

I don't support plarium. I think they royally effed up hydra, continue to ignore trunda, allow tanking just about everywhere, some major problems with siege....

IMO, Siege will quickly come to be dominated by Defensive Strategies. With only 5 Attack Scrolls to spare, there will be very little rooom for error.
In my clan, we have already started using post restrictions & chokepoints to very good effect to somewhat control the direction of the fight, and now there is only more incentive to do so.
