Since the release of the Doom Tower, we've been looking for ways we need to improve or tweak it. While we're still working on the next full rotation, we have made a few changes to the current Doom Tower Bosses to help make them a little less easy to beat with gimmicks and a little more strategy-oriented.
Here's what you need to know:
- The Nether Spider will now always attack with her second skill, Brood Feast, at the beginning of the round.
- Three of the current Doom Tower Bosses – the Frost Spider, the Nether Spider, and the Magma Dragon – now all have a new passive skill. That skill is:
Almighty Strength: damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP (including poison detonation abilities) cannot exceed 10% of the Boss' MAX HP when attacking the Boss.
- Two of the current Doom Tower Bosses – the Frost Spider and the Nether Spider – also have another new passive skill. Here's the skill:
Almighty Persistence: all Turn Meter reduction effects are decreased by 50% when used against the Boss.

the is likely one of the worst updates i have seen . when the Doom Tower was introduced, you laid out the bosses so that a specific strategy could be used to defeat them. many players, including myself scrammbled to assemble the right teams, spent resources to power them up, and just as we get close to having a chance at beating these bosses , you change the rules?????
This is unacceptable. I actually broke my own rule and spent real $ to get a team assembled for this, and now they become essentially useless????

This is such a bad take for those who aren't big spenders and don't have a massive massive roster, you mentioned wanting to offer alternatives yet I don't see any way that these changes enable that, I understand that this is supposed to be end game content but this seems a bit to hard of a swing in the wrong direction
Plarium is trying to make it more fun so that you dont just destroy the whole game and everyone just crys about it...
If you dont like the game leave.. if you do like the game learn something and get better...
I will say i am fairly new so i am not able to compete at all.. but I dont want to play a game that is just click a button and never challenges me... should their be more incentive for these harder updates.. probably, i dont find it quite right that the game difficulty is just increased and nothing is added other than the challenge...
But i love that they try to do what they think is best.. and so far i think they tend to listen to try to keep us around
If you are new to the game then you probably dont have the time and money some of us have invested. I spend and have about a dozen legos I couldn't beat normal the first month DT was out. Also they try to do what makes them money not whats best. Plarium is not a company of moral and honor. Dont be such a sheep.
Great job, as you said earlier you wanted to focus on specific compositions rather than some champs that can do anything. Lowering of the decrease turn meter efect is in my opinion great way to introduce what can poison spider really do because that strategy was to avoid fight with him at all... now people must find a way to cleanse and w/e else as was intended from the start so this is in my opinion perfect!
Lowering the impact of enemy max hp heroes might be a little overkill but we will see how it goes... i am really glad for these changes because doom tower shouldnt be a joke but should be a tower that only a few can climb to the end.
PS: i am F2P late game player. My last reset was normal completed and floor 49hard and still i am glad that they made changes as they said they will... some people here think that everything should be easy for everyone but that wouldnt be any fun...

Nothing unusual with this update. Just same old Plarium as I remember it.
Please make this game harder in next update. It's too easy for people who already spend more than thousand dollar in the game.

Now how does that work if before you couldnt beat them at all without max HP champs.
The only change for 2nd iteration of DT was harder bosses (literally nothing else changed) and I assume this is what you're doing now as well and you didn't even bother making new secret rooms challenges for a change. You didn't make more "viable" champions as you promised, you made less of them. That doesn't create the proposition for more champs. No sane game developer, regadless of how greedy they are, just strips players of their power without any shifts in the meta. That is garbage game design. That's like inviting someone to your party and then gradually pushing them out. You are the worst game developers I've encountered.

You cant really have input of you arent even there yet. It takes a lot to put teams together that can beat the content. Which they just killed most peoples teams. Secondly, its an auto game and you should be aware of that even from starting.

Just to confirm:
Almighty Strength: damage from skills that scale based on enemy MAX HP cannot exceed 10% of the Boss' MAX HP when attacking the Boss.
This is also limiting the damage that can be done via Poison Explosion even though the skills themselves do not scale off max hp, the poison does.
Are we saying that now it basically caps poisons at 2 debuffs on the boss, or does it only limit the damage when you blow them up?
Zavia's Deadly Catalyst skill doesn't scale off enemy Max HP - so what's the deal?
That is an horrible way to tackle the "problem" of the DT. First, there wasn't a Problem with the DT. Most players are struggling already in the higher stages on normal. Second, You are claiming you want to spread out the number of champions, to compete in this part. But who are they? The only thing you did, was rating down champions by increasing current mechanics and not changing them. Just think of it!
Other champions will be only viable if you redo the current bosses and their mechanics, so skill Xyz would be useful, not by let us make skill Abc worthless and also ignore the fact other skills are still unusable...
My Take away is: Plarium is getting their ideas from some YT Whale Channels like Promis and Politicians think Twitter is the mainstream on how the world thinks, behaves and prioritize what is important in life.
That Update is a big letdown for the broader Raid community. I am really disappointed about this lazy and iggnorant approach.

If youtuber content don't care reward and want to challenge why don't create 131-200 and make them harder and faster, they can do but they refuse because buff doom is easy and create new level is harder. So now money win go win brr Plarium
