Been working my way through and enjoying the challenge, but now I'm stuck with the scarab king. When I come up against him in the Doom Tower, Dark Elhain beats down his MaxHP shield in 3 turns... but in the Cursed City, nothing I have reduces his max HP... and please don't tell me to don bloodshield rings, I have already given as many as I have to the heroes that need it. It still doesn't help beat him down. I even tried soloing him with DK, who does sad amounts of damage... an hour later, he actually worked him down to 70% HP... and then all of a sudden, the boss health reset back to full for no reason. 

Please fix these bugs! I want to see more Cursed City content!

If you can replicate such a bug, I'd love to get a video of it I can send in to the developers. I would caution you to look out for Scarab stealing UDK's Continuous Heal buff, thereby healing himself back to full.

Good call on the Continuous Heal buff, I just realized that's the reason he heals when I tried running it again. 

I recorded this run here with just Dark Elhain, as well as highlighting her gear and masteries. Her crit rate is 119%, so she should still be critting even against force affinity... unless his defense is just that much higher than I'm used to in Doom Tower. I'm really not sure how to get her damage any higher... she's already at 5119 attack and 196% crit dmg. Maybe I am just stuck until the next iteration of cursed city.

Weak affinity has at most about a 60% chance to crit, even with 100% CR. I forget the exact numbers but it's something like a 15% CR penalty eg capping at 85% - but weak hit can't CR, so it's 85% of 70% (or whatever the weak hit chance is).

Im constantly hitting walls in there >.< 

Lack of a variety of fully built champ doesnt help me and focusing on building them now isnt worth while when next rotation i will need another handful .. so im just pushing wherever i can on hard and normal , taking notes of champs i have and could be useful in there .. once 2-3 rotation go by i'll have a big enough list to see who to build ..

unfortunately this is going to be the nature of the Scarab matchup without Destroy/a Destroy mechanic, he's just going to absolutely tank everything due to the mechanics of the fight.

After a few days of work, I've stalled out, I beat the middle section of the first neighbourhood and got a key, but I can't beat any of the bosses I need to to get to the next neighbourhood. Thi presents a nasty challenge for an account like mine, but hey that's why i love this game, lol. Time to start planning my next 60 carefully

Anyway to get plarium to nerf destroy set but make it 2pcs ? :P destroy/regen makes endless scarab teams ;)

Scarab really is one of those bosses that's pretty damn annoying for awhile. With another time we're seeing some of the bosses that stuff early/midgame folks in a locker, I think it'd be neat to see upcoming fusions interact with Scarab and Bommal, too.

Honestly - I never bother with Destroy for Scarab. Poison does the trick just fine, whether through a set bonus or just by bringing someone who has it. Takes a while to win, sure, but it does the trick.

didnt have any issues until scarab DTH 100 and cursed city where im limited ...>.< guess i have a long way to gear niche champ or have to focus them to push through ;)

valid. case in point: regen immo froban does the trick in sintranos.

Gearing tips and blessings recs for a n00b. Maybe I can beat the Anus boss.

Do not put 4* gear on him

Do not use Lifestealing, Defense or Health equipment for him

Speed and Acc are your friends....

He should be quicker than 120 

Don't use flat stat gear for gloves, chest or boots (except for speed on boots)

Use glyphs on relevant stats

Here's a hint if you want to be SURE to have everything you need for every floor on any rotation.

You will need no less than one of each of the types (HP, Def, Support, Attack) of each affinity of each faction of each rarity. 

So 16 epics and 16 legos per faction. So basically, All the champions except rares or lower. LOL

So, don't fret too much, don't build champions just for the city, you will never see the end of it, unless you're  kraken and can 60 champions at an incredible pace. But for mere mortals, you'll be doing really good if you can  do between 1 and 2 new level 60 per week.

Ultimate Deathknight very slow win, on Cursed Normal Stage D9:Borgoth. (My ultimate deathknight is set up for sand Devil's necropolis) So relieved! All my champions died fast, except Ultimate Deathknight....

Definitely don't need to be a kraken. I can probably spin up 20 of them in a day if I wanted.
