The Bommal stage is the only one I can't complete in Cobblemarket, so I'm glad I'm able to do the other levels, and city areas, too. :)
You really don't have a team that can handle even that low-level of a Bommal? There are plenty of "relatively" easy teams to build for that. Personally I didn't even bother building anything special - I just took Duchess and a Bomb champ and made short work of him. Duchess didn't even need to revive.

on that subject, do we know what the stats on the soulcross bosses are? i'm trying to figure out how much accuracy i'll need to pile onto oella.

whatcha working with for the Sand Devil stage?
Just got my keys and tried for the first time, was doing ok
Then out of nowhere my pythion got whacked for 2 lots of about 72k damage, is this just rng or can it be prevented or are you all using attack down more?
Also does this guy remove protected buffs?
Okay. High entry bar, need min 100k hp on pyth, but wasn't too bad.

Unsure on protected. But, yes, ATK down is absolutely essential.

Yeh i had to manual it in the end which is a huge deal for me as i hate manual and i had to re do the masteries as well, and take pythion out of stoneskin and into tankier prot gear
And i wasnt the first in the clan to do it, gutted about that lol.

That's one of my major gripes with this place. I don't mind doing some of the battles on manual, but if they're going to make us do that, they really need to make the rest of the game less of a grind :/

Plus getting a bunch of five star gear as my reward after nearly 45 minutes of trying to do this boss was... an anticlimax to say the least!

Seems like the real reward are the fragments you get - which give you an okay chance of getting a Mythic champ.

I came here for a bit of advise
In the cursed city, I have managed C1, C2, C3, C4 & C7, then I cannot get any further. I have tried most combinations of the champions I have, which it allows me to choose from, but I am stuck.
I am level 64 in the game overall, but my champions in the cursed city, don't seem to do much at all.
I do arm them and make them as strong as I am able... I have 21 rank 6s, 28 rank 5s and 34 rank 4s and I really don't know what I am doing wrong.
Maybe I am too old to play the game and maybe I don't understand it fully, but I do enjoy it and up until this week, always completed the quests, but now because it is asking to complete two stages of the cursed city, I now can't even do that, and it is making me sad
I can't complete the 2 key quest, either, in either mode. I don't mind struggling to beat the levels, but really hate that I have not been able to complete my advanced quests. Limiting that quest to once a week or so would be a big help to those of us who lack deep champion rosters. (I've been playing almost 4 months now and have only drawn one lego from shards - Warchief, and so far only rares from Void shards.)
I got most of the way through the first stage on easy. I got stuck by being unable to beat some of the bosses with the ;limitations of cursed city because I have been concentrating on developing only a few champions. I am a free to play player and getting the resources to develope a well rounded stable. At level 57, I only have 4 legendary champions, and the ones I have are the free ones. I have never been able to pull a legendary champion from a shard. Most of my resources have had to go into developing rare champions. I do have a couplee of epic champions that I am learning how to better utilize. I was completely amazed when I got gear from the new sets and think that in the long run they will greatly help my team. I never fight the hydra because I simply don't have the champions in my stable who can deal enough damage to earn any rewards, and have only recently begun climing doom tower for the same reason. I will keep completing stages until the restrictions switch and I am able to get the right champions.

It took about five attempts, once you know the fight it isnt as bad. The run that did it was frustrating however as he kept getting heals with 1 or 2 bars left, hence the long run.
New content is good with nice rewards. Sadly I am hindered in progress as I have only ever kept 10 champs in each faction, feeding the surplus to increase ranks. I was of the opinion too many champs in the game, still am tbh. Would have been great if they had added a storyline to the new content, a new campain as the old is done so quickly. You get champs devolop them to do the campain battles, so many champs, you build and equip about 10 or so the rest you never use. I like this new cursed city, but it's only more free stuff which is nice but a little bland, after all where is the challenge? where is the story? You get better champs, you get better equipment, but why and for what.

I am having to expand my roster as well, and I'm struggling to find good gear for them.
As for the content, well yes these types of games are always about gradual incremental improvements ..going back all the way to the time of text type muds.
Yes a storyline would be nice, but I imagine analytics have shown plarium that the vast majority skip any story content
To me the best content in the game has been doom tower and cursed city, since they have introduced mechanics that force most people to think about their tactics.
