Same issue on my iPhone 7S, appears to only be cellular where I have the issue. Worked fine on WiFi at home last night

new update won't work on cellular data on iOS. Don't know if you've heard, but there is a special fusion event going on that some of us still have some hope of completing, but it's kinda hard to earn points when you can't play the game.

Try to run the App in flight mode, worked for me. Once youre in the login screen disable flight mode
Just make sure you wont close the app else you will face another crash

You guys I have a fix. It’s gurranteed to work. Start the game on airplane mode and than it’ll load and before you tap anything else get off airplane mode. Upvote me so people can know how to resolve this issue 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Hello, my iPhone is going straight to a black screen when opening the app. I’ve installed the latest update and it’s been doing it ever since. Been going on for about 8-9 hours now. All the best with fixing the bug! Love the game

Tried the airplane mode fix for iPhone XS, but didn’t work. Maybe I did it wrong but once I went to turn it off, got the black screen and then closed
