I can appreciate this new distribution of Ninja, as he's been a staple on my team since he arrived. I am curious though, are we going to be able to empower him with similar champions? 

Yep, players who started before you have stronger accounts. Weirdly enough the strongest advantage people have over newer players is time in game.

I don't get anything when new players get a free code to get a Deacon, or a Mordecai, or Tayrel, or Rector Drath.

In your world I deserve some free things for those new players using a code and getting a good epic while I struggled trying to get something useful for several months. 

You are angry other people are getting something. They are literally getting what you already got, and you're mad about it. That simple. :)

Not to mention a lot of folks seem to be glossing over what we/everyone who got Ninja back then got with the goodies and code and such. 

That's of course on top of the fact that three years of Ninja, which to call "a pretty stupid response" is silly and rather ignorant.

Nope, I'm annoyed that you couldn't be bothered to give me the 4 energy potions and 80 multi-battles.  I'm not angry. If all you gave them was an instant Ninja I wouldn't be posting at all (and yes it's a pittance that I'm annoyed at). I'm thrilled that everyone gets Ninja. He's an awesome champ. You could have given him without giving the energy and multi-battles. Why didn't you?

Like seriously, you guys don't address my point, which has nothing to do with Ninja and everything to do with excluding some of the player base from the rest of the goodies just because they already have a champ. Those players who fed Ninja before got the goodies that came with him previously and now they are getting this as well. Your talking point is bad. Just tell us you didn't think it was worth it to give those of us with Ninja anything.

And you got all your energy and ancillary rewards when you got Ninja the first time. That's when you got the 150 multi battles and 5 energy refills that came with Ninja, along with an XP boost and 500k silver.

You literally got almost exactly the same rewards, but slightly better.

Yes. As a matter of fact, it seems unfair to new players that they are getting less multis and energy than bh2875 got with Ninja.

Sorry, I know you aren't Plarium (and don't even really speak for them). The point was always that completely excluding some percentage of the playerbase is poor form. The next time they do something like this I want them to include all players in some way. There's plenty of ways to do that. Again, I don't have a problem with people getting Ninja, not even the idiots who fed him in the past. It's the fact that there's an arbitrary "you have this champ so you don't get anything" definition.

Nobody likes to be excluded. Even if what is given isn't much.

If they had given out something that you hadn't already gotten, I'd agree with you. 

If they had given out an avatar, more energy than you got, a legendary book you didn't get, etc. But they did none of this. New people are getting slightly less than you did, in fact. So I can't agree that you're left out.

Where you're left out is for people who fed him when people thought he was trash for like a week. Those people got a bonus 5 star chicken, and the energy rewards and multis twice. 

If you want to be upset, that's the reason you should be, in my small and unimportant opinion.

If your point is, well because you started before or during the initial Ninja release you shouldn't feel left out, I'm here to tell you, I feel left out. I wouldn't if the only thing being dropped was Ninja.

Now if you are telling me I'm angry (I'm not) or whiny (yeah, I'm being a little whiny) that's really not that relevant. It's how I feel, it's completely legitimate. Your response that I already received these rewards might be valid, but it doesn't feel valid because there are so many things that I'll never get because I wasn't playing when they were given. This is something I won't get even though I am playing while it's released (even though it's next to nothing).

This is a completely valid response. Thank you. I kind of wish they'd excluded those who fed Ninja. Then your reasoning would be much easier to agree with.

I'm sorry, how would you know how dumb my arguments have been? I've had some pretty dumb arguments in middle school, thank you very much. Several of them about if I'm blonde or not. This isn't even my top 20. 

Feeling left out is a valid response, and criticism I'm willing to pass on to Plarium. Especially when presented in relation to people who fed him getting a second chance and bonus energy for the privilege. 

People being angry and/or whiny is relevant though. So is happy. So is bored. Community mood has relevance. And no telling me it's not.

I do personally disagree with your basic premise, my account is so far beyond almost anyone else's that I don't even use or need Ninja, and I certainly don't care if someone gets some refills I got three years ago or whatever. I'm happy for them! Let them eat cake, as far as I'm concerned. 

I also think newer players need even more things than this, way more, to help them catch up. For example, I match with people in my clan in Live that have been playing for only two years and it's an absolute train wreck for them. Just utter destruction. I can only imagine how far behind a player that started in the last 6 months is. They need more than they are getting.

I'm definitely going to be passing on how some older players, although not me, felt like they were forgotten about by not getting something during this event. Remember though, the event isn't over, and perhaps you'll have an opportunity for more things before it ends.

Well this is a pay to win game. The only way to really catch up is to pay. A lot. That said, I agree, new players need to have good ways to get more competitive.

To say that the refills and mult-battles are the same ones we got 3 years ago seems disingenous to me, but maybe that's just me. It seems like a reach to come up with a justification for not giving something to a very large subset of the player base. I see the logic, but that's what the 30/60/90 day (etc.) login rewards are. Rewards for being players at a certain point in time probably shouldn't come back around again. That's a totally new reward sequence that hasn't previously been seen. Previously you either had rewards because you were playing on a specific date, or rewards for how old (or active) your account is. Now your saying those rewards for playing on a certain date, may come around again, but only for players who weren't playing on that prior date. That just seems off to me.

In any case, I know Plarium knew there were going to be some who felt this way. They likely just didn't care. I don't expect to see anything, and to be fair they don't owe me anything. I just know it's more fun to get something than to get nothing. Thanks for listening to an older man vent.

Wandering somewhat off topic here, but I want to see the ccs do a new FTP challenge, *with at least 1 dev participating*, where they all start brand new accounts and see who can get to gold 1 tag arena fastest.

I'm 95% certain if you had a couple of devs doing it, and players watching and commenting on it as they livestream, that some improvements to tag would be coming in short order.

This would be great.

I'll answer that.  Brutality, Flawless Fatality, Juggle.  Those Mortal Kombat terms apply.  And that's my entire team being blasted by just Ninja alone.  And my team has Lazarius, Adelyn, Deacon, and Elhain, all 60, all of them mastered, three of them booked and awakened, etc.  Yeah, I'm still tuning and gearing (and Laz is gonna be impossible to book and awaken without $$$), but without significantly different toons that bring more to the table, it's not even competitive.

The same thing happened vs Scyl of the Drakes.  Or Corvin...or...pick one.  Rae rolled me yesterday.  I've probably been rolled by other top-tier toons as well in just the last week alone.

Getting Ninja will help.  Eventually getting Scyl will help.  That's why I was only half-joking when I said I wouldn't argue if they released Ronda again since she can't be sharded.
