Hi, Marius
There is going to be a serious problem coming up with Clan Boss due to these releases, which has been present already but will only get significantly worse as people continue farming gear.
https://plarium.com/forum/en/raid-shadow-legends/675_feedback---suggestions/134408_clan-boss-damage-limit-means-limited-chests-available--a-practical-and-fair-solution-/
If someone can please take the time to read this post and give some kind of official response, that would be awesome. I really believe this is a serious issue but it could be easily solved with the right implementation, an idea of which I've provided that could be adjusted as needed.
I'm so sad for this game i love. So sad to see it dying.
Our clan was waiting for this cb fix for the 1.8.
As well for the faction war.
Now they all feel so disapointed, we are about to lose 10 players of a top 30 clan. Waiting three months for an update doing about nothing entertaining for no late game content and...no new content at all. Dungeons lvl20 are already cleared. Three months for that ? Please tell me we won't wait 2 more months for the tower or faction war. I guess our clan is already a lost case, it will die, too many players leaving for getting bored but this game had such a great potential. I kind of still believe it can become something but all these leavers are bringing a big doubt in my mind.
Again i'm really sad to see our community dying, i hope for you newcomers will keep it living but you already lost many old players' faith.

I agree that we need faction wars ASAP and the new races, but the lvl 20 dungeons now give out 6 star and legendary gear. It will take months of solid grinding to get top-end gear sets....... and you're all "bored".
Yes it will take more grind. What i told in a previous post is that 6 months after the release, today, a gatcha has to offer a late game content that is not grinding.
Tournament, tower, faction war, anything that keeps you thinking and will give a sense to your grind. Yes most players who already deal 20m+ to nightmare boss are just grinding for grinding (for about two months now in our case) there is no point to be more powerful atm. Even clan boss offers room for only 15 players max ( lol ).
And a cooperative content is also a standard you expect in gatcha before being able to max your team.
I actually am a really low spender and patience is my friend, i still enjoy the game for itself. I'm just pretty sad that top100 clans can just disapear, that people keep playing for the team but telling how they are getting bored by the game, well no more interrest in the game for many.
Please stop the cosmetic updates and release late game content asap, this game has such great potential...
Yes. I'm also noticed in last several weeks my clan members become less active.I'm so sad for this game i love. So sad to see it dying.

Marius, I know you take the brunt of a lot of frustrations being one of the "faces" of the company. I don't doubt you are trying to do your best, and in my professional experience, your hands are mostly tied from upper-level management making poor decisions and not listening to you or the customer.
One thing that I have to say that has been mentioned NUMEROUS times in the past, balancing champions NEEDS to happen! You keep saying it takes time, but it has been what, a year now, yet the only thing you guys have done so far is nerf several champions to try to get people to spend money replacing them? You can't say it takes time, yet you guys will slam someone like Pain Keeper with three nerfs at once to all three of her abilities. It's clear that it is about the money and hoping people will pay for shards or leveling up a replacement. What it does instead is kills retention and customer confidence. I no longer want to invest in the game, as I wasted money on tomes for Pain Keeper, and it was completely wasted with no compensation back to us.
But anyway, like others have said, there are some champions that are so OP that they are staples in arena or clan boss. EVERYONE uses Apothecary, unless they have a legendary that can replace him. And now, thanks to the speed aura, Khatun is the new Apothecary. In arena, EVERYONE who has them uses Reinbeast and Gorgorath. And no one in their right mind would NOT use Roshcard in arena. However, where some champions are OP and some are trash, you are pigeon-holing people into choosing what they *need* to based on the games mechanics. That isn't fun when we don't have any choices and see the same exact champions over and over and over, because they are the most viable.
The balancing is LONG overdue, and NEEDS to be a priority. You guys keep spewing out more champions, yet don't balance them. I mean who over there thought it would be a good idea to toss out new uncommons, aka trash champions, rather than put that time into balancing? The priorities over there are ALL wrong.
The top priorities currently should be:
1) Champion balancing - This SHOULD be paramount. While I know the company thinks no money is to be made by fixing champions players already have (as opposed to them making new ones to sell), the thing is that IF a champion in vault becomes viable, the player still has to max them out to 6 star, gear them up, get coins to cap the gear, get masteries for the champion, ascend them, etc. So, it would be GREAT for customer retention, and those customers will have reasons to spend money.
2) New content - Whether Faction Wars, that tower thing, whatever was supposed to happen with that campfire greyed out on the main screen, or something else new to play with. Making harder dungeon levels and a new level of artifacts to farm is not something new for us to experience. It just means we have to farm more again and level up new gear. But, it's the SAME levels, the SAME bosses, the SAME content. We need more and we need fresh.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think there is a single vet of this game that would disagree with those 2 items being the most important to retain us at this point. Making more champions viable means more variety, which brings fun and exciting new mechanics to the table that we have to deal with. Right now, there are maybe a dozen or so really OP champions for arena, but otherwise, nothing else that is a huge threat. Making more champions viable by buffing and/or changing mechanics, while not making NEW content, would at least be NEW experiences for us that we could enjoy.
But anyway, I think it would behoove you to put up a poll here on the forums to get feedback and you'll see I am right here. I *want* to love this game, but there is also a lot of frustration with it in its current state. I know balancing when you have so many, many champions and various skills is difficult. However, you guys should do it gradually, not slam someone like you did with Pain Keeper. You work on things in increments, see how it plays out in the game, and continue to adjust as necessary. You don't need to do a huge overhaul each time. That overhaul of Pain Keeper nearly made me quit, it truly did. And between that and the lack of new content in 1.8 (combined with the inaccessible Rotting Mage) caused the two friends I talked into coming back to the game to leave again. Please do what you can to get upper level management to listen to the consumer, and I assure you, if you guys focus on those two priorities, it WILL help retention, as well as new customers, as if your current customers are happy, they tend to refer more people.
And I do feel for you having to take the brunt of all the player frustrations. But, if you really want to improve your value to the company, go to the top with this. Don't let your management dismiss you. Throw the information in their face with such resolve that they HAVE to listen. Being a regional manager, I can tell you we WANT our staff to call us out when we are doing something stupid, and currently, you know as well as I do after 1.8 that they are making a LOT of poor decisions. Please, help us out Marius. And if you want help, like submitting a business modification proposal or something, I would be more than happy to help out. I know sales and marketing inside and out, and I could definitely get it through their heads that they need to change priorities. They are focused on what looks good on paper, rather than listening to the customer for the sake of retention. I have seen this issue countless times in countless businesses over the years, and it is a mindset that burns a company to the ground. Only so long until Rome burns, and based on customer feedback, they already have the torches and pitchforks.
And if you do listen, feel free to PM me for any help I can give. Otherwise, good luck if you do push for the much-needed changes.

Hey there! Thank you for the feedback, it certainly was a long and thorough post. I won't be putting everything into the quote in order to save space, but there are a few points I'd like to address.
First, the thing I did quote. I do agree that Champion Balance is important and shoulder prioritized - the Devs do as well. At the moment we are unable to dedicate as many people and as much time to it as we would like, on account of working on new content. But we've balanced a number of Champions in recent patches as well. Specifically, in 1.5 and 1.7. This is just the beginning, of course. We will continue working in that direction, and many of the Champions who are often brought up (Astralith, Tomb Lord, Dracomorph) will see various adjustments. We are working towards increasing the pace of development in general, and, ideally, changes of this sort will be a regular occurrence.

The same applies to Faction Wars and other content. There have been unforeseen delays, and we are not blind to the fact it's needed to liven the game up. Fortunately, that is something we have dedicated most of our resources to, so there will be things coming in the next several months. I am not going to make any promises or give time frames yet - lest I bring about another wave of "Sooning" that some players are so fond of ;) - but it is my hope that we'll shed some light on the future.

No. Drop rates might be bad but they are bad for everyone. So if you think you are unlucky truth is all are unlucky. Problem are constant packs which are sold for real money. These packs are making bigger and bigger gap between big spenders and low spenders/f2p players.Yall need to fix the drop rate...constant brews and shards instead of getting artifacts for events...full energy nd got 24 points
Plarium, considering how much money is this company making you all should be ashamed by your lack of progress, communication and updates provided to players.
You are telling that you are lacking people for updates, patch, new content.. Please tell me. Do we look stupid?
Let us clarify something. This is mobile game, people are spending so much money it is disgusting and you are unable to provide decent support. Your support should be on a lot higher level and you need to work more. Work more? Yes work more, so no free weekends no holidays. If you expecting people to pay this much you need to give them what they payed for.
Look at your forum. Accounts have been sold by bots. Content was announced months ago and not delivered and much more.
Do not get me wrong, i like this game but something is rotten here.
I was playing many games and this one is Great. In some of them devs where sending in game question od votes what to change first. Propably comunity have a good look on game and what is main problem. I also feal lack of balance in champions and faction strengh. Also some events should be changed - current one is crazy.... There could be lets say easy norm and hard option on all events. Also there should be earlier in game info about incoming events or fusion( and a lot more amount of possible fusions)
Best regards and a good Day to all:)

Just saw your reply in this thread. For starters, thank you. Secondly, I do apologize. I didn't start frequenting the forums until after 1.7, so I was unaware that there have indeed been buffs as well as nerfs done in the past. So, I definitely stand corrected on that.
But yea, there are some HUGE imbalances currently. Like if someone has a speed aura and Roshcard in arena, I don't even think about trying them. As I'm sure you know, arena only lasts 2-3 turns at most typically. So, Rosh pretty much lets the enemy team become invincible for the entire encounter. I am sure that was not intended, but unless you guys make some modification to damage in arena or how everything in arena is determined by who is fastest, it isn't changing anytime soon.
And then there's Big 'Un, who one-shots the whole group when people max out his crit rate, lol. But anyway, not singling any champions out. You guys see the numbers, you already know. It's the same dozen or so champions, and speed is paramount.
Hi.
Foly + arbiter is done...what else ?
It's my turn to give up, i would like to know you'll release some entertaining late game content "soon" (i mean a real one, not in two months) but you taught me to doubt about it.
6 months to add some competitive / cooperative / anything else than solo grind is really too much. I'm currently boring and the "huge event" was more a duty to go through than a pleasure to achieve, ok i'm rude and i felt like it because i was already boring but i'm far from alone in your player base to feel it.
Thank you for the months i spent on raid, the basics of the game are among the best i've seen, a pity the game didn't manage to evolve as fast as its players, i'm sure you still can make a really great title with it. I might come back later on to see how it goes.
