Let's just face it. EVERY CHANGE Plarium has put in place to play prizes is really designed for them to make more money not to give you better troops. Plarium wants you to lose the big stuff first so you will buy it back and play more. If you choose not to purchase replacements they make it impossible to play on a regular basis because of the lengthy troop build processes. The complaints go in one ear and out the other. They only thing they will change is the amount of profit they get for you failing to win at prizes. You can tell this is true as the fancy new 50% deal does not apply when playing prizes, they wouldn't make near as much money if it only took you have the troops now.

Well I started playing pirates and tried Nords and everyone there was complaining about the system and I quit that game. Now the system with prizes is here very few if any like it. I hear the same complaints here now but Plarium is deaf and doesn't hear any complaints. I made friends here and that kept me playing but several have quit and several are waiting and hoping for a change before they quit. The game is boring and slow if you don't use rubies. I used a week to decide to buy a few rubies in a last attempt to get the game to work. I lost alot of units at prizes continuing to try to win like plarium says, that didn't work. Now I am trying one last time to figure it out and it isn't going too well so when my prestige runs out I will most likely quit with many others. 

If you have to be a rocket scientist to figure out a game it isn't fun anymore and I'd rather build rockets! So I quess I am going to go out to the garage and enjoy working on my cars more. I lose less money there and have more fun. I regret buying rubies yesterday already now. I hope something happens but have little faith, good luck pirates.  

You don't pay us anything yus we get a small amount hardly worth the drama the exceeds the forums monthly, .

many are just concerned where the game many of us play is going, i get that and understand, and many players here i agree with, But plarium has changed things, and told us already they aren't going to change it back, now we need to find a way to beat the change, figure out a way around it, many obstacles, lets stay positive and find the right path and help each other figure this out,

its good you at plarium want to make changes  to  the game, to make i more atractive for new players, butt why are you pissings off youre loyal players who are spending more money on the game then the grafics and deph of the game deserve ( i play world of warcraft).

so please try the finetune the new prising systhem , so old and new players are happy again.

There's only a small difference with the previous system - you get a small payout each time. Your big payouts will come as usual.

As an example. Let's say you would get 10kk Defense after 3 Prizes with an old system. You defeat them and get 10kk Defense.

With the new system, you defeat the 1st Prize and get let's say 500k, you defeat the second Prize and get 500k, you defeat the third one and get 9kk. 

As you can see, it's almost the same in theory. Of course, I can't reveal you more information, formulas or mechanics. It's just an example.

Today I stopped to play the Prizes. They were the part that I most enjoyed of the game. And played everyday. I have read pages ago that I was helped? No I wasn't. And also I have read justifications about the way Plarium "update" the Prizes: There is no justification. And let me explain again because it seems that I didn't explain my self enough clearly before.

THE WAY PRIZES HAVE BEEN CHANGED:

1) Without previous notice or warn: It has no justification.

My case: I bought a BIG money "special offer" . The day after Plarium changed the Prizes. I bought it to play Prizes and the Experience tournament. Remaining rubies had other targets. Plarium ruined my plans.

This is like you test a car. You like it. So you buy it. After you have paid it you are informed that the engine has been changed because somewho or somewhat didn't like it. You complaint and see how the car's manufacturer hides behind some forum's moderator.

2) During a tournament: It has no justification.

This is like, after you pay for, in the middle of a chess tournament, the judges decide to change the rules. No more words are needed.

These 2 points have no possible justification. It is not the way to do the things. The players wouldn't have this reaction if this "update" was done taking them in consideration.

I'M SURPRISED that I have not read any single APOLOGY for the trouble Plarium has caused to their customers!!!! This is awesome!!!

Also I have explained my case several times. I have not received any message from Plarium's client care interested in my case, asking me details of the transaction, and looking for a solution.

ABOUT THE NEW PRIZES:

After playing everyday since the prizes were "updated" I have a more clear opinion about them.

The only positive thing I found is the big payouts including marines and luggers. This makes more balanced armies.

I have not seen any other advantage for the player.

Yesterday I had rows of 12 to take the big payout.

The way how I played, and how I was having fun is ruined. And I was playing them for fun and points.

Have no idea how to have back all what I have inside the prizes without risk and in the more fast way. (Please only official response here).

Plarium has demonstrated that have no in consideration their customers. My opinion about plarium was very positive. Not anymore. Thumbs down for Plarium.

........ your ripping everyone off> Don't you dare justify what you have done.If I send 100 dollars worth of guys and come back with 75 dollars worth for a level 50+ prize well that .....If I send out those same guys to get a similar prize Level 50+ and come back with 500 subs and 350 frig's it will be a better result than what is going on now.You are .... your players and it will only leave you with less players who will pay so get over yourselves go back to win some lose some but when you won you got a decent return for your effort> Thank's very little for the new prize payout and reverse your decision. Captains, the reward system on Prizes has been updated. Let us take a closer look at the essentials to crack that nut once and for all.

IMPORTANT: The following applies only to new Prizes, i.e. the ones you have not engaged yet.

1. Why did we decide to update the system?

We have always received a lot of complains that Prizes “don’t work” or “work badly” or that “the rewards have changed”. Some players feel that the way rewards are issued is unfair when they see other players’ screenshots of big rewards. One of the major problems is that some sailors can lose their entire armies before they get a decent reward. This is especially true for new players that do not have enough expertise with Prizes or more experienced players that engage higher level Prizes where the intervals between good rewards are significantly longer compared to that on lower level ones. We have made a decision to adjust the reward algorithm so nobody finds themselves in such stressful situations.

2. What will happen to my current progress?

Nothing. Again, your current progress will not be affected in any way. None of your efforts were futile.

3. Why do I get smaller rewards when suffering big losses?

From now on, you will be receiving a reward each and every time you win. It is time to say “Goodbye” to Prizes not yielding any rewards! Brethren Court Engineers are convinced that every victory must be rewarded! Smaller rewards do NOT mean that your Units were lost for nothing: any victory may reveal that there was a huge army held captive at the Prize you have just conquered!

While under the old system you would be left empty-handed, now you will receive a guaranteed smaller reward (we mean Units!). Additionally, if you win on 10 Prizes, the cumulative reward will be slightly bigger than before.

4. How will smaller, more frequent rewards affect the regular reward algorithm?

You will need to win at slightly more Prizes, Captains!

5. Will there still be big rewards? Really big rewards?

Absolutely! Every victory at a Prize is a chance to win a huge reward! The chance of getting it is now slightly lower, but the overall number of rewards remained the same. In other words, you will be receiving the same reward, but it will be split into more parts than before.

We would like to assure our players that we are being very cautious with this update. Our main goal is to not tamper with the existing balance in any way but to make the reward system even more convenient for our players.

It is important to bear in mind that every player is at their own individual stage on the way to getting the reward, and the benefits of the new system may not be apparent right away. It might take you some time to evaluate the new system and to figure out how it works. The algorithm is new, and adjusting your strategy to it will require certain effort. One thing we know for sure: it will be worth your while!

With what i have experienced, you need to stop small payouts in order to get bigger payouts and also you will need a successful streak of killing prizes.

So what you need to do is to get them to yellow bar (Do not kill it) this will increase your bank value, i really can't comment on how much bank you would need but on a rough calculation it would need around let say 70M+.

and once you have gathered a handsome bank value, you need lot of troops because you need to clear last few prizes in one go, and if no payout than continue your successful streak on the prizes you have yellowed already.

mmmm lost  3500 subs, without a big reward.. then i read about this new way of rewarding prices... well not happy... 10 times before a big reward. wondering how that is going to work out attacking lvls above 100.. y0u need 10x between 3 and 5 mill... so between 20 and 40 mill to get a big reward..

also i found out winning small prices increases the payout of resourses (nobody wants or needs), so every time you want to do personal event (capture prise), you need to increase youre resourse lvl to 90 %.. what is almost impossible to do, to avoid getting a payout in resourses..

so if you want to improve the prises stop the payout of resourses (you can buy them a lot cheaper then building time)  and pearls
