i have one idea about this i would like to share:-
i think in this matter a next level espionage technology can be introduced in the game.
lets take a condition.
a attacker has level x espionage technology
defender has level y espionage technology
recon attempt on incoming raid:-
will fail (if y<=x) (all recon units are lost)
will succeed ( if y>x)
1) will able to know number of troops coming only (if |x-y|>=2) low accuracy
2) will able to know incoming troops type along respective numbers only (if |x-y|>=5) moderate accuracy
3) will able to see full recon report with all correct data (if|x-y| >= 10)
every recon attempt on incoming troops boosts up their incoming speed by some percentage.
this technology levels are not restricted but resource cost rises exponentially at every level
( i am talking about protocrystals as a major resources to upgrade this technology ).
to unlock this technology you also have to be top player in tournaments.
