The Stoneheart Unit’s Ability has been changed

Dear players,

We are unconditionally sorry for the inconvenience and lack of warning regarding the changes we made to the Stoneheart Unit’s Ability. Indeed, adjustments were essential in order to improve the bonus calculations. In the future, the improved formula will be perfectly combined with other bonuses and will not cause an imbalance.

We would like to thank you for your understanding.

You claim that this was a BUG,  but we know it was not.  It was a massive miscalculation by your devs due to a total lack of testing since this game was created.

You claim that the problem was caused by Stoneheart Unit’s Ability, but this is also untrue.

The problem was caused by your greedily adding 8 star Champions,  yet you nerf our abilities instead of reducing the insane effects from maxed out Augurs.

But this will not be the end of this sorry tale  ...  What happens when you decide to add 9 star and 10 star Champions,  which you are certain to do in the near future to further boost your profits?

Will you then be making even more devastating changes (nerfs) to all Stoneheart Units?

How about a nice game of chess, Professor Falken?

Funny thing... it was a glitch with fort level 21 and level 22 downgrades not showing up. Already reported to Support and we were told that it was fixed. As usual - no compensation and not even a tiny-tiny token. I guess "human factor" was not fired :)  or there is plenty of them

Lords and ladies!

We deeply apologize for the whole situation with the changes in Stoneheart Unit’s Ability. Since there was a bug in the calculation, and we had to fix it as it was affecting the game balance for a while, we should have definitely warned you beforehand. The fact that we didn't is just a human factor. We have learned our lesson and will do our best to avoid similar miscommunication cases in the future.

We certainly understand that the problem caused distress and rightful indignation. However, we simply couldn't have avoided fixing this one.

Last week, compensation for these inconveniences was sent to your accounts, as a token of apology and appreciation. We hope that each of you received it.🙂

Are you saying this bug was 2+ years old and it took you 2 years to notice a major flaw in your product? What is to say you decide to roll anything else back in the game that is YEARS old at this point.

The compensation is minimal compared to the 2 years of time/effort that many players put into growing their SH armies and SH champs.

There is now no reason at all to do anything with SH troops or the Auger champ. They are completely useless in the game now. The last 2 years have been updates to SH and champs and you just made one of those useless to every player in the game.

Before you make major changes to the game, perhaps you should look for some comments from the player base who understand the game, as clearly those who make these type of decisions have no idea how the game works.

"and we had to fix it as it was affecting the game balance for a while"

This is just total dishonesty. Augur's have been in the game for 3 years - not "a while".

You can't roll back a 3 year old piece of content claiming it's a bug. It's not even remotely reasonable - but even more so when the SH arts were locked behind a sketch paywall - intentionally for revenue generation - so you knew why the SH bonus were desirable, the level of the bonuses and were exploiting that as a business plan.

Vera, our tech support team deals with compensation issues, please contact them to find out more information about it. Unfortunately, we can not influence their decision from our side.

Well, after reading all reactions on this topic, I think congratulations are in order to Plarium.

If they tried to create a mass exodus of oldtimers, they discovered the perfect way HOW TO

This is the 2nd biggest fiasco since the constant  Beacon Massacre(s). That drove tons of players to leave the game.

However, I see what is trying to be done here. People are forced to protect castles with more Beast Riders and Purgators which require soulstones to build.  When castles get attacked then more soulstones will be needed to replace or build more. Sales 101.  Unfortunately as people have told you greed is destroying the game.

Lastly, So fun to see my maxed out Augur @ 243.75% Activation!! Activation basesd off of 1 to 1 base not upgraded??? which is now 1 to 4.. LMAO. What a con job after what everyone has told you about the time and money spent on these Champions.

Really the right thing to do if you want people to stop playing - all S/H updates are wasted. A lot of players have already written in details about, so I will only say - I totally agree.

Lets try and be rational, no one has questioned the bug fix caused by the Augur Rank 8 Champ. What is a problem is the lowering of the ACTUAL figures that has been working fine for 2 years and WAS NOT a bug. Thats the problem.
