by winning events, do you mean getting the necessary champions to complete the fusion? if you mean win tournaments then no, you don't need to do that in this. you do need to plan accordingly with resources, save shards and pick and choose what fusions you want to do. If you're not getting enough resources in game (double top chests NM/UNM CB, clearing both Doom Tower difficulties every month, those come to mind) then you will have problems doing fusions.

Did Plarium make this fusion easier?  I used a lot of shards to get Mickinaki and didnt have a lot left.  But I was able to get the epic from Summon.  I almost have enough left to do Champion Chase.  Is this easier or am I getting used to the grind?

Where did you test?  How did you build?

It seemed fairly easy to m.e could have fused a few days ago but waiting on cvc to start.

FK, built him fast, 100 crit rate, decent crit damage and enough accuracy to land the debuff.

Clan mates have gone the opposite way, ignoring accuracy and using lethal for pure damage.

May take out of the vault to try on hydra when my keys reset but i think he will be too squishy.

Hmm, I was thinking ignoring cr cd altogether for fk. But I have not even tried hard 1 yet.

He full auto 1 keyed NM Hydra for Deadwood Jedi.

I will be finishing out his build when I'm not just dumpstering points in CvC to do so.

I have no idea what jedi built but i threw him into a random hydra team and he is decent, but unspectacular, coming just below michinaki in the team i tried

Michinaki is considered amazing in Hydra, and they both were right at 28 million damage. 27.97 million versus 28.16 million.

He is better than i expected for sure, i may experiment with a build more speed focussed as i dont really need the leech with the healing put out by marichka.

is the Razelvarg can be fusion after this even? I try my best to collect all materias but didn't notice the event  was ending because it's holiday in Asia now and stay with family was harden that working day! LOL
