we do not, no. booking and ascending champions only count during tournaments; events are limited to levelling champs and ranking them up.

it is tough to predict exactly how many points your opponents will put up in some types of tourneys - like training/champ chase - much like there are times in poker where you can't know exactly how much your opponent will bet on later streets, especially the important ones.

I imagine he was quite upset coming in second after leading for 3 days and the player that had been 30th the whole time took first. LOL! Just like in poker, it's called NOT showing your cards.

I'm just having fun farming food to evolve my champions. I hadn't realized how fast I could do that when pushing myself. Had originally thought it took two weeks to 6* someone, now it's nearer a week. :)

Did I miscalculate of does the Champion Training for Ultan finish 30 mins after CvC starts? Because if that's the case, sniping seems pretty much guarranteed.

Oh no, I got absolutely smashed. Someone got to 40k+ within the first little bit and I didn't bother.
I think in those kinds of situations I just expect them to be ready for pushes and I wasn't up for an ~80k+ score :)
I'm glad I gave up relatively early. Stopped 20k points, while the top two battled it out and finished at over 50k. It's gotta be painful to put in that amount of work and then lose.
Any chance that Plarium might give another opportunity to pick up a rare? This is the first fusion I've seen where you had to get every single one available. No second chances -- not even winning a tournament.
