Add me to the list as well, I was in the Green in Gold 1 with 1626 points when I went to sleep, and I woke up; and stayed in Gold 1. I looked at my battle log and won fights at the end. So, I am very surprised I did not get promoted to Gold II.

I was just into yellow for S3 and thought I might slip, but woke still in S3.
Same i was at 1407 in Silver II going to SIlver III. I want to do my Silver IV mission so i am pushing it now i need to wait a week!
I was attacked one more time it sees lost 16 points. Surely 1391 is enough to promote. The green bar was 'more than full' which indicates you are comfortably in it
Was in silver 4 and had 1591 points, no one attack me and didnt got promoted and now I miss one week on my sacred shard that had only 2 days of cd. Also woke up 3 hours early to make sure Im there at reset if need to push some points 😈

I was on green to get promoted to silver 2 but dropped to bronze 4 instead
Was in gold 4. Pushed to about 1400 points in yellow to stay like usual. This is usually more then enough as even 1000+ in red usually stays in gold 4. Woke up to see myself placed in gold 3.
I knew this was highly unusual (been gold4 since the first week it was possible) especially on a less competitive CvC off week. Just assumed it was very unlucky unexpectedly competitive week congrats to all the sweaty gold 3 players who pushed hard this week. No big deal
Noticed shortly after many other players among my clan posting about getting deranked from green in gold 3 instead of promoted. Even some players in gold 4 with 1700+ points.
Even the hard working Gold 3 players in the green I was happy to congratulate for knocking me down were getting DEMOTED?!? That feels bad all around for everyone. Weird placement bug this week all around. Hope they compensate.
this post is less for me and more for all those players who worked hard and still got set back even further. Very not fair. Id be happy to lose my spot to a good player working hard but to see us all losing especially the hard working players feels bad. Please fix and compensate them
Definitely bugged, I was in deep red probably 0 points by reset in G4 as I never set a defense this week and I stayed G4...

Same here. Was in Silver 3 deep into green, and instead of ptomotion got demoted to Silver 2

I was deep into green, my defense was hit once 12 hours ago, I won that fight. I was demoted.
I can only add that a clan member is reporting this for several weeks now...that he is normally in the green field and does not get promoted or even demoted.

My guess is they discovered the root cause rather quickly, can prevent it from happening going forward, but have no good solution to fix this week.

I can't give you a definitive timeline, unfortunately.
I can say that we've reached the stage where data has been collected, passed on and acknowledged by the devs, so it is being looked into.

lol there's definitely an argument for this. I wasn't getting challenged and my attentions were needed elsewhere, thus I gambled a bit.
