What do I earn on completing nodes with 3 stars, instead of just finishing them with 1 star? 

Unfortunately it is.

Helheim for most players is old news anyway.

Beowolfs equipment is useful if it is found early enough,otherwise it may not be of much help.

I have no idea what bonuses the headband has, but do know the boots proved useful mostly until a higher level could be forged.

You may have already passed the usefulnesss of his headband, which as has been stated elsewhere, in this thread I think, is not necessary to finish the last node on the last floor.

Luck on what is found in the rooms seems to be important, but I suspect there may be some other reasons.

Most swear by 'if you dodge, and so don't get hit, you have a better chance, and seem to have switched to the female champion, as she has less life, but is this really necessary?

Nothing else doing, so decided to go to Helheim.

Floor 10, node 4 ,still only 2 stars, ran into a chest second room.5 boxes, last one Beowulf's Headband, ( on checking, doesn't seem there's much improvement on Ghostly Veil) so will see if it helps any now.

Weirdly, cleared 20 rooms finishing with 1 health after several rounds against a very strong opponent at this mark.

Wearable at champion 35,so finding earlier should be more beneficial.

Just did only 19 rooms wearing  the headband.

Assuming  you  finished,congratulations.

Is that  all you did?

Or, did you also rearrange skill points? 

Maybe get more from another champion level?

Based on observation I have several theories.

The unofficial helpline has a comment about contacting the postee for the definitive way to get the last node done. 

The trouble is this site is full of suggestions that many blindly follow as gospel,and come unstuck.

Similarly here too ,and in this dilemma ,with the need to get Beowulf gear,and specific reference to a particular set,which may not necessarily be the best.

For a number of reasons, I haven't even switched to the female champion, as is recommended.

I haven't given up, it is still eaarly days for me, and though they may be useful to most,not finding the bonus boosts is not so important for me.

What's your opinion on Soulbane,right hand weapon for Champion level 48.

For me i found it was worth it,however this wont apply to everyone as 5m runic coins are likely to be better spent elsewhere for other players depending on what you do in the game.

I had been stuck on the last 2 nodes of floor 10 for a long  long time never getting any better than finishing node 6 or 7 with 25% health left no matter what combinations of settings i used,as soon as i brought soulbane i completed both nodes with 3 stars on my first try

Did you visit the shop every day  or did you only just go in recently after not doing so for a long time? Do you remember how many items used to be on sale there?

Pretty sure there only used to bbe four, but have been six for a long time for me.

I still claim the free material, just in case , and sometimes  buy the  boosters.

Sorry - I have been busy with cvc. I do not know anything about the Soul bane sorry (I have never had 5ml runic coins to spend - looks like it was worth it tho ). I went with the recommended Spellbound Flail which seems to have worked for many other people. I and my alt both have 2 stars node 7 and my alt has only just reached lv 49.

Just  completed floor 10  node 7, a bit of an anticlimax really as there is no fanfare, no specialty pop up , only the basic  you have finished the floor with three stars etc.

It was my 67th run, without the usually suggested set up,only ever using Unnar, so to me at least, it shows it is possible, I hadn't even used all my skill points.

This setup will beat the last floor, might have to do a few attempts. Done this with 3 accounts already.

Ps Judging by the fact it's glowing is that Beowulf's headband? If so how do you get any of the Beowulf gear? I have 3 accounts on floor 10 none of which have received any of the Beowulf gear.

Thank you. I discovered my alt has the  Beowulf's headband - I have no idea when and how. The other gear is Spellbound Flail, Bewitched Breastplate, Enchanted Trim Belt, Northern Bulwark,  and Durable Boots.

The plot thickens - I reset the alt as suggested and with one go left, ie 10th before being locked out, completed the floor ie 2 stars ... so progress. 

My main however, although it has been lv 50 for longer, has 85 less points to spend, ie can't reach 3,000 on Intuition. Even wierder, although it has 26 on Vitality as suggested, the vitality is 57,360 and not 58,459. ????

My alt on its run met  7 oponents and the Boss. My main on each attempt ran into more than 10 oponents and never completed a floor.

I believe it's not important, ,so don't worry about not being able to repeat 2 stars, 

Though on several occasions it looked like I was going to succeed and get 3 stars, there were  times I also failed miserably at repeating 2.

After Arnie's addition, I went back to check and read through the whole thread, doing so might prove beneficial to others.

Most , but not all, are recommending Viva, and apart from not adding anything to Health except through armoury. nothing else is consistant, suggesting there is no ideal set up.Unless there really is, and it's a secret !

I kept note of all runs and gloom type, and from run 34, how much health was lost in each room.  

Though I started with a different set up, and changed it for some of the attempts, I dropped the use of several  items of Beowulf gear, but never got round to returning to Ghostly Veil.

I could be wrong,may have since updated,but I believe at one time it was with the rewards for 1 star.

I got the headband in a room chest, but unless you drop lucky (I did the boots) chances are you already have something at least as good, if not better.

You need a bit of luck with some empty rooms and some good crits.. thats just how it is, youll get there mate.

how you got different health pool is a weird thing, all my accounts use this setup with same health. 😂

I have a feeling I read somewhere how many champion skill points there are,and I can't check without seeing Pipkin's account or perhaps resetting my own so...

I am making an educated guess here, but if his alt has the headband and the main doesn't that would be the likely explanation for the Health difference between them because, gear adds health.

 I can see why the headband is recommended, there is 1,116  health differance between Beowulf Headband, and Ghostly Veil , an alt with the head band, verus main without would almost account for the shortage Pipkin wrote. (57,360 and not 58,459. difference 1,099, there's a post on this thread with the Ghostly Veil set up with 57,343 health)

Beowulf Headband 963 .v. Ghostly Veil 439 gives extra 524 on intuiition. 

The rest of the  85 'missing' points is probably connected to this.

If they have been used in another category , they aren't available for 3000 intuition.

As only 19 rooms.

Guessing last room was also empty, and so jumpng straight to win page.

Previous Run 66. after killing Boss with 64% and 5 rooms left,2 of them empty but 3 strong gloom 2G and 1B failed at 39%                         1Red,5Blue,6Green,4Empty,4Chest.

I just posted in general, not as a reply to anyone.

If anyone is wondering how to setup their champion for the last 2 nodes, then this worked for me without much pain and is a setup ive gotten a long time ago from other big players. Do not expect it to solve it on first try because you will need a bit of luck aswell with the rooms, dodges and crits. 

Its easy to make a setup that just never will cut it as you level up, reset and try something random might be just as bad, but this setup can and it will beat it. Best of luck folks! 

A guy on my team finished it I asked him how he said he didn't know so it is possible

Are asking if it's possible  to do it? If so, the answer is clearly yes, all levels can be cleared with stars on every node.

If you are asking if he didn't know how it was done?I would say that's doubtful.

The technique is basically the same , 

kill the chief for 1 star.

complete all rooms for  2 stars

do both and retain a minimum of 50% energy for 3 stars.

The only differrence being, it gets more difficult as the event progressess.

He  might not know the set up of gear if it was changed, but there's no reason to change gear after 3 staring everything, so maybe he doesn't want you to know, however this seems unlikely, as if you read all the posts, you will see knowing a gear set up,that has been succesful, doesn't guarantee immediate success.

The finished numbers seem impressive, but just how impressive are they really ,even if the complete set had been achieved soon after they were introduced?

What else have they introduced or that you have since accomplished diminished their worthiness?

Remember the difference between 9 and 10.

Use all the 'improvements'.

I would suggest they are just another sales gimmick inducement, like the improved gems.

Its just mathematically impossible to keep giving huge percent increases that have any real meaning.
