Also, shouldn't the idea of "traps" be that the other team can't see them and know what they are until they're sprung? Seems to at least mostly defeat the concept if I know a trap is there and exactly what it will do before even choosing my team

Had to close and reopen for a fight myself just yesterday.  Will continue to complain about it to the CMs.  Also will pass along your feedback about the traps.  I also kinda think they're pointless.

I'd put this in the category of let sleeping dogs lie...

They are pointless as is now, did anyone want them to begin with? Focus... 😆

2 quick things:

1. Taking forever to load a fight is still a thing. It's now been a year and a half.


2. Maybe it wasn't a great idea to schedule a major update and server maintenance 15 minutes BEFORE siege ends?

I mean, there's literally *someone* who decides what time to do it. can they not check to see if any major events are running, or more importantly, *almost* ending at that particular instant?

If anything, the "having to close and reopen to launch a fight" has actually gotten worse recently.  I didn't really have much trouble when this thread first started, but the last 3-4 Sieges, it has happened to me repeatedly....and I have fielded more clanmate questions about it as well.

Well, my clan was rather evenly matched. At first, we fell behind for several hundred points when they destroyed our stronghold, but then we caught up with them, destroyed their stronghold plus some towers and won by 100 points difference (having roundabout 3k points each of the two clans). So it was a very good encounter for us.

The previous two Sieges, we had been pitted against clans that could wipe the floor with us, but even so we tried our best to make it as hard for them as we were able to.

Man, I wish we could see the results of a siege during the prep phase.

Looked like it was gonna be a stalemate; both clans had 1 unbeaten team in the strongholds. Ours was sitting on 13 wins, thiers had 18.

I looked it at less than 5 minutes before the servers went down for update (even though there was still 20 minutes left in siege, supposedly)

Then it turns out someone had beaten the final team in those last seconds. And mostly im really curious to know what champs they used to do it.

While I agree 100% that it would be awesome (and at this point it is inexscusable that we don't) if we had better access to performance metrics after a Siege ends, but you can get what you are asking for right now, unless it was your team that did the winning.  

You can view Defense Battles after a Siege, so if you know which Siege Team was the last to fall, you can see who beat them.  If it was your clan that did the last minute win, the only way to know would be to ask.

I was one of my guys who clinched our win at the last moment. No one is bragging though, has to be one of the few are aren't active on our discord.

I put up a message in clan chat, but no one ever reads that

What i really wanna know is HOW they beat the enemy team:

HIlvi, Tormin, Fabian and Taras. All of them in stoneskin.

Fabian was roughly 400 speed, Hilvi a hair less, and the team blasted debuffs though my 700+ res.

Taras and Tormin *might* have been slowbois, not sure.


Edit: Oh, Tormin had 6* polymorph, Hilvi 5* poly.


2nd Edit: Mystery solved if anyone's curious.

It was a Niamhe's passive block damage at the start of the fight + a stoneskin/wand of submission Komidus who managed to plant bombs without getting sheeped FTW!
