Now I'm really curious what kinda bug there was that one week where it did NOT happen.

Been hit a few times by this during Siege and have had to restart the game.

Will pass this along...again.

What really baffles me is that it ONLY applies to siege, and it works fine if I restart raid and go directly to siege, but if i do anything else first, like an arena fight or clicking a level up in sparring pit, then it'll hang and I need to close and reopen again.

Same. Maybe it's a Plarium Play on PC thing. It will just hang when trying to start the fight. I have to quit the game completely and go back in. Then it resumes where it was in the timer as if I was sitting there at the Champion Select screen the whole time...

And YET we absolutely destroyed them in Victories and Points (Siege hasn't ended yet so this isn't the final score with bonuses for destroyed building but we got 4 of their towers and they got 1 of ours)

Triple their points and almost double their victories, but this is a "TIE". It needs to be Stronghold OR if neither Stronghold falls, whoever got the most Towers+Shrines (with priority of types)

I looked at the calendar and counted; this is the 14th siege. They've won every time since it started.

Are you winning CvC often? I swear I remember something about CvC performance factoring into Siege matchups

Off the top of my head I think we're roughly 50/50, both pr & non, over the last few months.

We don't do 'off-weeks'; but we're also not in a tier where it should be 'necessary'

We try our best each time; win some, lose some.

And I'd be fine with that if it were also the case for siege, except it's become not only 'lose some, lose more', but 4 of the last 5 we've been utterly, completely stomped. Like, no contest, over before it even began, we didn't have even a chance at ALL.

Maybe it's time to have a cumulative points chest for siege like hydra and chimera clash; even if you always lose you'll *eventually* get a chest, and at least you make *some* progress for trying.

CvC shouldn't effect Siege matchup at all. 

I hate Siege matchmaking with a passion.  Since it was so easy to manipulate early on its still out of whack.

ok good. Speaking of CvC, does anyone even care about CvC anymore? I mean really? There's no mats or special gear to get really beyond the shield ones and shards. It doesn't even make much sense with Siege now. I get it, it's something people still spend on but eventually they're gonna realize it's like arcade tickets: you're spending 10x the value of the prize you're going for.

Not like they used to, no. You'll see whale clans battle it out from time to time but it certainly isn't the same as the olden days of CvC for the majority of people. It really isn't worth the stress, at all. 

Rewards need updating, etc.

Ok glad to know it's not just me. I mean Siege and Chimera especially have the top rewards right now and they're both "Free" essentially. Burning a combined total of 30 shards across Sacreds, Voids and Ancients to win "clan stars" or even a couple voids if Personal Rewards are included just doesn't make sense now...

I think doing anything and I mean anything to tie the mode into current day Raid (souls, relics, ANYTHING) would go a long way in terms of making it matter but as it stands it's just a situation of scoring as little as possible during non personals and testing the waters in PR to see if they're winnable without going too hard.

If I've got a surplus of energy/gems to burn I will try and farm SD/Shogun/event dungeon during PR though.

Yeah I checked Tier 6's rewards and if you get all of them (which takes over 5 million points) the only things of note are:

3 Void Shards, 1 Ancient Shard, 1 leggo and 1 epic tome. Also 400 Energy and 800 clan gold... 

The set is Immunity++ for your debuffers but it's not anti-sheep. Anti sheep set is Pinpoint.

Once people start thinking of it as Better Immunity they'll see how great it is. Bomb meta? What bomb meta??

getting to six is going to be prohibitive for a lot (most?) of builds. four piece lets you run it on DPS (especially hybrid) while still having a damage set attached.

I think that distinction between going 6 for Feral and 4 for Pinpoint is a huge deal.

Right, I'm just saying that *IF* feral gave a 100% immunity to polymorph at 6-piece it would become incredibly popular and sought-after
