The "Gift for the Master" contest
Lords! The anniversary of the Kingdoms of Amaria has coincided with Master Cunningham's birthday and Counselor Kevin faces a tough task – to choose a gift for the Master.
The rank-and-file soldiers informed Kevin that the Master has begun construction in his Palace and a talisman with construction bonuses would be useful for him. Moreover, some of them heard that Cunningham's Town has been having problems in his Lumber Mill, Stone Quarry, and Mines.
In the Master's notes, Kevin found references to the Academy, where scholars once sought a talisman from the Arsenal that would help conduct Studies faster. It was well known that all the parts of this talisman could be found in the Academy, except for materials that can only be obtained by attacking the northern Assailants.
All the warlords unanimously agreed that Cunningham, as a siege expert, needed a proper shield. Notes about this shield are being stored in the Order Citadel and Kevin needs to know what pieces of equipment are required to craft it. They say this shield provides excellent bonuses when attacking and defending Castles.
A smith from the Workshop told Kevin that the Master had ordered him to craft a hammer for his raids with scouts. Three of the four materials have already been acquired. Only the shield, which is in the possession of the chief scout, remains to be obtained. The chief scout had previously used it for espionage but then replaced it with something better.
Kevin will have to get the materials for the shield from the Assailant's Camp that belongs to the Assailant who abjured the faith. An ostler heard that a helmet is needed for the cavalry, but it has to be of 100% epic quality. Kevin must calculate exactly which simple materials and how many of them should be yielded to craft this helmet.
