each time a good thing talked about or a thanks is cited u talk about game  coming to an end.

I didn't say the game is coming to an end. I said there are not probably not many people playing champions. Since there are not many people playing champions, then not many people like Champions.

when is the community manager going to give feedback about this feature?

Hello! Though the name and the avatar is almost the same, this was my colleague's reply  Could you please share a link to this thread with me? Thanks in advance!

The community manager promised to ask developers to implement this feature here

https://plarium.com/forum/en/stormfall-age-of-war/51_game-discussion/100574_how-many-people-are-actually-playing--/

The topic was closed before she got to tell us what happened.  I think this feature will benefit us since some aspects of the game are depended on the number of players online. Like opening a Holy bond, and taking a beacon.

It will be nice to know how this ended. Especially since we will be playing on Plarium Play from now on.

champions related events provide opportunities for non coiners more than anything in game

u gain emeralds the way i said

and u gain orbs the way dj moody thanked plarium for !

coiners are everywhere in every category, not just champions, but here u get a chance to compete

The amount of champions you need to sacrifice in order to earn 160 million points is over 30 000. Even if the players started the tournament with a complete set of 300 level 3 champions, it will be impossible to get 160 million points without spending thousands of emeralds buying champions.

So which opportunities does this tournament I mentioned here, and which DJ Moody Praise, provide to non coiners? Are you suggesting that players I have highlighted are non coiners?

You don't get a chance to compete, you get a chance to click. You don't get a chance to win, you get a chance to play. I am not saying Champions are not fun, they are fun. But they are not completely "Free to Play"

If you upgrade the Shrine of Summoning to level 20 (which can be done fairly easily using sapphires from tournaments to buy sketches during discount) you can train champs profitably, meaning your emeralds will go up just from doing training.  I have nearly 50k emeralds just from doing this, without having ever bought an emerald pack.

Anybody willing to put in some effort can score high in the champion tourneys.

Well I didn't spend a penny On that event  just quite a bit of time  It got me to 23rd in the rankings  I would've gotten better rank if I had used more of My bonds in the sacrifice to Advance champions more  but I thought I might save them for another day.  maybe next time :)

And I think if not many people liked Champions  then they would all be here telling us that !

I was  happy to see a post  pointing out a positive subject

As most  times it seems Players only come here to post when something goes wrong.

From what I see many people Love the champions when they understand how much they can boost their Gameplay.

I don't want to deflect on this thread topic, and I do understand the 'new' content change this 'feature' brings.

The coining aspect aside, which can be somewhat negated, like most things here.

When the games become dependent on mounts/heroes/champions it loses interest for some, myself included. The bonus' and attributes stray from the strategy gameplay. I understand some may see it as an additional strategy, but the focus shifts from 'real' troops to all the added attributes is not for me. Now I have dabbled with it  and have still upon occasion run them to give it a fair? try.

But overall it keeps the game 'fresh' for most and gives the players something to do I suppose, so it can't be all bad.

They say a picture tells a thousand tales. This picture below if from Server 1, which according to Plarium is the most active server. It shows how players are interacting with Champions.

This picture can only mean one thing.

  1. Champions are still an elitist future with few players engaging in them.

    Or

  2. the game has less than 5000 players left.
In the same champion event, one player scored 160 million points. While the 100th player scored 24 million points. So you are probably wrong, champions are an elitist feature, and very coiner based.

each time a good thing talked about or a thanks is cited u talk about game  coming to an end.

ur  statement is completely incorrect !

while,no one can deny some coining and a few coiners being on top but even that much can be done without coining ! as a matter of fact this in itself provides a situation in which non coiners can gain some emeralds too

this is how in short:

open bonds and sacrifice with income resources

1.now u can store up to 10k bonds !

a. to increase ur bond receiving chance u need to increase ur shrine of summoning

b. increase ur champion slot to 300 (optional)

2.u can store unlimited amount of resources

a.now with battle pass aside from ur raid resources at the end of each month u receive the same amount of resources

b. increase a warehouse and a barn to max (optional)

u sacrifice ur free bonds u have gained in a while,u get xp along with some good amount of saphs

this is how it helps even non coiners ! this is one of the few things almost everyone is in agreement

i have so many bonds and so much resources, thats why im not worried even if my emeralds runs out ! this brings me to my last point !

champions are great but mixing them is just alot of work.i know for a fact half my league isnt doing this.cause well mixing champions takes so much time.
