Nice.  I run mine on Hard.  Best total is 1.8B.  Had one shield explosion on everyone and then a single on Mischief twice since he no longer spreads the shields from artifact sets. 

I will try Brutal again sometime soon. The one week I tried Brutal, I kept getting stolen early, which doesn't work out well.     

RNG. Got off one good shot, and then mischief never came back up again.

I built the team stats for nightmare, but didn't have the dps to bring down the nuke head WHILE the cleanse head was also up.

Its going to cost me roughly 20 million silver to summon all my shards  that I have on hand......may get more afterwards (we will see as I am eye up a pack that will still be available tomorrow)

I will have 2  hrs to summon as  much as I can before I go to RL work tommorrow so will post my results here

I expect a decent  placing  on the  Global Leaderboards  before I go to work but it will most certainly be short lived    LOL

Please PLEASE let me help you here, ok? Don't do ANY summoning or fusing for the first day of the event, other than whatever you need for daily quests.

You will see if you have even the slightest chance after the first day. It's NOT a Sprint, it's a Marathon UNTIL the last few hours. Then it becomes a Sprint.. Your current plan is to do everything immediately and I promise you, if you do what you're planning you are gonna waste all your shards and silver and might not even get in the top 3.

You made this whole thread about how much you want Odin, I get how important he is to you ok? 

DO NOT follow through on your plan. Take a screenshot of the standings tomorrow night and post it here and we can tell you if you should do your massive summoning. If it's only going to take you 2 hours to do, there's NO reason to do it on the first day.

I appreciate that view and it is legit....but with that view you risk having players become committed to the cause  if they go first

Its often how I play CVC.  show my enemy I mean Business and you want  to come up against me then its gonna cost you

I prefer this strategy over the other....But its just my personality as I am sure  those  here on the forums  know ;)

You are not gonna "scare" or "shock" anyone into not trying right off the bat. You know why? Because they'll see that after 6-8 hours, your points haven't increased. Then everyone knows you blew your shards already and you're not a threat. MARATHON.

A gambler doesn't bet EVERYTHING on the first hand in poker. Also you're potentially disrespecting everyone who has posted support of you in this thread. I don't care about myself, I don't have any stake in your actions. But a lot of people here (that I do like) want to see you do well for once and not faceplant with short-term aggressive decisions. What you're doing is saying "Hey everyone, thanks for support and well wishes but I'm just gonna throw all that away on the first chance I see". That's gonna (again, potentially) cause frustration and disappointment in others. As for me, I want to see these screenshots of Day 1 after you've done this and then another screenshot of the final rankings when it ends.

People on the fence about going for it will see him out the gate and say F this not going to get involved in chasing this guy.

Sure they might think hey he spent all his shards nows my chance, but if he outs up enough points right away they will still not want to chase as he is obviously commited and can just buy more shards.

For now all I'll say is I love Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate. 

I also think this is the best way to get a win. Just put it away early, keep all the fence sitters out before they are pot committed. Bury them.

Plus I know you'll be pot committed anyways, since you want him so bad.

This is not a good approach, IMO. We definitely want to disincentivize our opponents from trying and if we can even thin the field out by one, it's a great result for us. 

Also, your approach (and poker analogy included) implies someone who gets bluffed very, very often. :)

If we know we're committed it behooves us to come blasting out of the gates. In general we want to be the aggressor, not the one on our heels. I'm not saying if anyone should or shouldn't go into these types of tournaments with guns blazing but if they are going to push it then they should be trying to thin the field out ASAP. 

Then we'll wait for the day 1 and final ranking screenshots to see how this goes. A big issue here that no one has addressed is it's not Summon Rush, it's Champion Chase. Similar in that shards play a big part but they aren't the only method of points. Summon Rush is points based on type of shard used. Champion Chase is based on the champion's affinity and rarity. Statistically there's even a small chance PG might not pull a single leggo.

At this point, I can't tell if some folk here aren't encouraging this to get a big laugh at the disaster that's coming. It's like that group of friends that goes "Surrre you can definitely grind that rail on your skateboard down 3 flights of steps! Go for it bro!" Not saying YOU are doing that, but it's possible some are.

Again, we'll see how it goes and I'm perfectly fine to be called out if I'm wrong here.
