I love the idea of the daily rewards (i still dont understand why would it be limited to 180 days but well, its a step forward).
I dont mind getting new champs (and those ones look nice and even the abilities are ok)... as long as i can store them. This is a "collection" game, so dont force players to eat lower champs to be able to have some space, it makes the pure purpose of the game meaningless.
About the new sets of armor... i dont care at all if you add it to the game or not. The ones getting access to the armor are going to be just a few bunch of guys (and if the pieces drop as often and as good as in Arena IV they might be able to have a usefull set in maybe 1 year...). But dont you think that adding content that will only benefit some players makes no sense business wise? Even if the ones with access to the new armor pieces are going to be the big spenders (lets say $10k a month), dont you think you will get much more money if you focus on the low spenders (lets say $20 month to put a number).
Even if you have 1000 players spending 10k a month, i bet you have much more than 50k active players spending just a few bucks a month (which in total make much more money than the 1000 big spenders alone).
