Dear developers! Or should I say, dear
children!
Let me explain why I address you as
"children" – because your actions indicate that we are dealing with
people who are not yet fully formed and do whatever they want without taking responsibility
for their actions.
I've been playing this game for two years,
and now your "rebalancing" efforts are entirely aimed at making you
more and more money.
Unfortunately, this is true – many (but not
all) of your gaming audience are young and still young – and unfortunately,
they don't understand this.
Gaming in its traditional form is a process
that should be relaxing and enjoyable.
In the current situation, this is
impossible.
In this game, people are focused on
winning. To achieve this, they develop a strategy: what kind of hangar they
will have, and day after day they accumulate resources and upgrade their mechs
and weapons. Significant amounts of money are invested to get more enjoyment
out of the game. And when someone is just about to achieve results from
assembling mechs with weapons, you introduce restrictions and nerfs. All this
simply by citing people's feedback—as they usually do in regular newspaper
articles.
I understand that you want people to buy
other weapons and other mechs—but not at the cost of the weapons and mechs they
bought!!!
Throughout the game, all powerful weapons
and mechs have been catastrophically underpowered and nerfed. No one will ever
get back the time you spent leveling them up—and you won't be able to make up
for the grief and sorrow you've suffered!
I've written to support repeatedly,
explaining that you're working in the wrong direction, but you're not
listening!
Judging by the third wave of rebalancing,
I've clearly realized that you don't care about the people playing the game,
you don't care about the game bringing you good emotions, and you don't take
into account that people seek peace in the game. Here's an example of how you
could have solved the weapon issue differently: instead of lowering stats, you
could have increased the stats of other weapons. Why didn't you do that?
Below I'll list what you've done since I've
been playing, along with a description of why:
1. Disc Launcher(DL) are too low. Before
they were lowered, they were in great demand. People stocked up on them,
leveled them up. Money and time were wasted. The result now is that few people
play them. They're left gathering dust on the shelf.
2. Ark torrents (AT). Same with DL. Few
people use them now.
3. 2v2 mode. They removed the good old mode
where you could practice with bots without wasting a lot of time. You could
have made the new mode a separate one and left the old one in place. The result
is that people log in for 10 rounds. This is done so that players spend more
time in tournaments and look for ways to level up/buy weapons and mechs.
4. The Revoker (R) is a top-tier weapon.
YOU came up with it. Lost. Understated, understated, and understated again. A
lot of time and money was wasted on upgrading them. Compared to the new laser
weapons, I understand that Revokers will suffer the same fate as Arc Torrents.
It was done to waste time and money on new weapons.
5. Surge and Eclipse – understated. Their
fate, just like with weapons, was to allow them to be countered by other mechs
with more powerful skills. But let's be honest – Eclipse isn't what it used to
be, since BlizzFrost can freeze it. Does this mean the Phase Curtain doesn't
work, or is it convenient for someone to stop Eclipse? The question isn't
whether someone will tell me "it's convenient" – the question is why
what was promised was done differently, and why this affects robots whose stats
don't match the description. I believe the undervaluation of robots is due to
people buying new robots that can counter the old guard – again, the cost
advantage is clear.
6. And finally, the new laser weapon (BurrowBeam-BB)
is currently experiencing a renaissance – it's in first place. It has all the
advantages of AT, DL, and Revoker. Let's think about what fate awaits them?
People search for them, buy them, play, and enjoy the game for now.
This is a brief analysis of what I saw in
this game.
Honestly, I'm very sad that the game is
going down this path. Because of the young audience of gamers, many won't even
notice.
And I'm very sad that such a game is being
run by such narrow-minded and greedy people!
Honestly, I didn't mean to offend anyone,
and if anyone was offended, then that's how it was meant to be!
Good luck to everyone!!!
