Just think of the astronomical odds of producing a worthwhile set and how many rounds of the forge pass you have to buy to get a single decent one.

It is a good set, but the pass gets you ONE set of it?

The far more likely result is you will get at most 1 piece you want and no set bonus, think about how many times you run dragon to get useful speed gear.

I didn't do the math, but you get materials for much more than that.  

It'll be over 100 5-6* pieces you get to roll, so in theory you should come away with at least a few usable sets.

If I added it up correctly, you can get enough materials for 205 5-6* items, plus the guaranteed 6 6* legendary items. Based on my own experience with the forge, I'm not thrilled about those odds.

And I'm surprised you find the forge underwhelming.  200 items with charms for an OP set (at least thats how it looks to me at first glance) should be a decent haul.

Well, this CvC I forged a bunch of guardian items using rarity and quality charms, plus speed charms until I ran out. I don't remember exactly how many I forged, but it was somewhere around 150. I ended up with 14 items I kept, and this despite being less picky than I normally am about gear because it was my first batch and I wanted to be able to at least complete a set.

I also did around 900 perception items without charms, and I think I kept like 30.

Did you guys notice something? On one side they give us the chance to acquire this Bolster set, while at the same time, the Fusion event features EXACTLY the champ to "somewhat" counter this set LOL

Everyone was confused about this passive of his, but that's what it's for it seems like.

I mean, no - the passive is specifically oriented towards the rest of his kit, which is clearly designed to be an anti-Scarab champ.

You're not going to run this guy in arena, except as part of a blender comp. Sure, the passive is somewhat useful there, but since his A3 is only single target, it's not really going to help your team much in that respect.

i dont see how his passive improves the rest of his kit. It's only useful if enemies have a shield. Whether your own team has one or not has no bearing on his passive. Or am I reading it wrong?

You probably don't initially need great gear, if this is your 'keep your team alive' guy you should be able to get a good amount of HP from gear and artifacts

where does the bolster set actually come in handy? i can only think arena? ive only been playing a month and i cant see any content where i need any shields in the first 3 turns for any reason?

I got the FP, 1 full kit and enought materials to build about 200 artifacts. 

I made a lot of them to get the best options on crit rate and speed. then, prince kymar in bolster. and headed smilling to arena!!!!

Total disapointment.

It doesnt work as you guys might imagine it. 

Shield works 3 hits, adversary have 4 champions, if they go first and someone double hit you, you loose it very quick. 

They still nuke you! hard!

The best set in arena is still stoneskin for suport/tank and relentless for buffs/nukers.

I got him yestrday. 

And now Leonathril is in bolster set! (makes senso, doesnt it?) it  double sucks now!

... why in the world would you give it to kymar? You should put it on an hp champ like vogoth.

It's great in faction wars and doom tower. Survivability is key there, specially for the first turn of the opponent's wave.

It doesn't sound sexy, but quite a lot of your progression will come from those two areas (6* perception gear from FW, loads of resources from DT)

I've only been trying to use this on champions who use their hp for there attacks this way I can build up the hp n add n some crits w speed n use them to keep my heavy hitting champions alive longer 

just for the test. 

kymar was the only i am still building gear up in my team arena. 

Obviouslly will not be in this set in future kramaswamy :)

I really need kymar in divine speed, stoneskin or swift parry
