Ignatius + Scyl, though took more tries than I was happy with. Paragon is the easy way to do it.

Ive got Paragon, just dont have books for the cooldowns.. what was your Scyl's DEF and HP when you did it??

Couldn't tell you tbh. It was a *really* long time ago. I can say that Ignatius was in solo Nightmare 12-3 gear. Note that Peril ignores DEF, so if you're having trouble surviving it, try stacking more HP than normal.

Yes, im trying to find the right amount of DEF for her to survive rounds 1 & 2, while also keeping her from dealing too little damage. I've got her built as my DPS now, just cant kill boss fast enough before he procs 2nd Peril or procs 1st peril on her without her shield up from Nekhret..

Do note that Peril ignores shield - unless you mean because of the damage share with Nehkret.

I wouldn't waste energy. Just wait til paragon is booked. Not sure if Scyl is best choice to pair with paragon if u do go that route. I used Ninja in lifesteal  with paragon. And I didn't even finish it until I needed to for Ramantu missions lol. I would put that pretty low on a priority list. 

Just want the shard really. Lol. Bored with my game when youve done everything for the day.

I'm definitely with Trips on this one, just because 12-7 can get expensive otherwise. I think I used pre-nerf Urogrim with Paragon, personally.

Think of it as a shard in your savings account. Like all the one time rewards in game, you will get them eventually. Any extra resources used to get sooner are just a waste. 

When bored, do Tag Arena. Best place to test and learn.  That or hydra. 

im with Trips on this. wait till u can book CD on paragon. in the meantime u can level champ or farm artefacts for him. 

im relatively new to this game as well and finished 12-7 NM today. with paragon. tryed with different combinations and even with paragon it was an RNG race for me. did it with paragon + yakarl. yakarl hit harder than anyone in my roster and he have CC which not require accuracy. 

btw all the energy i wasted on this, got me second achak :D and i didnt want even first of them lol. so dont be me, dont waste ur energy on this, before ur paragon is ready.

And, most importantly, don't use your sacred on a non-2x weekend :)

why? im honestly dont get the point of not using sacred or void shards, when u r new. u have too few of them for this percentage to really matter :D like, if i would have at least 10 of them, i would think about saving them for x2, but with mere couple...

It comes back to this (largely) being a resource game where you need to give yourself the most upside, especially with one of the most limited resources in the game in sacred shards, and voids too. 

Odds are odds. Doesn't matter if you have one or a dozen or a hundred. Using one sacred shard when you get it, every time you get one, means that when that 2x sacred does happen, you don't have a dozen of them to use.

You can accelerate progress with $$$ or better resource management. Lack of patience is probably the 2nd biggest contributor to new player struggles and frustration. 

That's not the point. If you use them early, you won't even have that couple. You'll have none.

I'm not sure how this could be explained more clearly. Are you really not following the math?

It is...but as Trips said your best way of accelerating progress - and thus the time it takes to vastly improve your account - is by streamlining when you use your resources. Using your shards during a 2x after stockpiling them means you're also getting more from the tournament or event going on that coincides with the 2x weekend. 

At the very least they need to be a way to help you get fusions, whether you're ready to do them now or down the line.
