I wonder if the issue was something they worried could be exploited (because the server was getting attacks against a target that no longer existed and was actually applying the damage) and that was why they didn't publicize it before a fix was made. I also wonder if they weren't sure if the fix they implemented would resolve the issue (they might actually not even be sure yet) and that's why they didn't mention it in the patch notes. It's possible the danger is still not past and the only reason they have commented at this point is the outrage. They've declared that they want to be as open as possible about their fixes for hydra and hydra clash, but their actions have been the opposite to this point. A good honest "here's what we see as the legitimate problems right now; here's where we want it to be; here is our current timeline for resolutions" would go a long way, at least for me.

That would be an improvement.  However, you will never get anything close to that level of transparency from Plarium.

fwiw - my Hard team is about the same as it was pre-decap-head change (trunda team), and my Brutal team is *significantly* worse than pre-decap-head change (thor team). IE, the latest patch has had zero benefit, and still represents a significant nerf to before the changes.

Yep, that's what I'm most upset about. I was really looking for Thor to be my new MVP and now he does a lot less. I'm sure it's true for other champs with similar mechanics. 

Trunda seems not only untouched but also better now... which is a Ctrl+Z of the entire point of their alleged strategy for rebalancing. 

Lastly (and this is just an in-general statement for all) the Devs excuse for why this wasn't in the patch notes is really pathetic. Saying "Oh it was such a priority we didn't have time for it to be in the notes" is just insulting to people if that is the level of intelligence they think the average player has. I prefer QUALITY lies

I didn't build Thor until yesterday, so I have no comparison to a pre-hydra-buff team, but I was able to do my best post-hydra-buff Hard key @ 391M and Thor did 166M himself.

Pre-buff, I had various teams that were doing 600M-700M on Hard, and my best Hard run was almost 1B, but after that week, I shifted that team up to Brutal, so I never got the chace to crack 1B.

Yeah, Trips is spot on. Marius is still great. Full auto key I ran today.

I should add that a new 9 piece Feral set on Eostrid is doing solid work keeping the team doing well.

LOL. I love the diversity in your NM teams.  The Plarium Devs would be so proud & happy.  

Trips running the same team twice, so I brought a group that only shared Marius, in effort of team diversity or something. 😆 😆

Well, unless you count Wixica runs. I shifted the heavy-hitting Hard Team to Brutal because I started running a Wixica comp  on Hard.  My best run with that team was 1.8B...

As a paying customer, I need to weigh in on this. Based on the description of the issue we received, there were several options available other than the one they chose (roll back limited hp on exposed necks, change multi attacks and ally attacks to be counted as a single block of damage, change the order of operations so that the full string of attacks completes before checking if the neck's hp is depleted).  What "they" failed to do was consider which option would piss off the customer base. This needs to be adjusted and quickly. 

No, they considered it, and they deliberately chose the one that pisses off us the most because it hurts us the most.
