How the hell did the Devs break Exposed Neck mechanics this badly!?
By now most people have seen that Ally Attack against Exposed Necks sucks because the attacks stop when the Neck hp runs out. That's really bad but it's not even the worst part of it!
Multi-Hit attacks ALSO stop if the neck is depleted. IE a Double or Triple hit ability, if the first hit depletes the HP then the 2nd and 3rd hits don't even happen!
I don't get it, I really hope this is some accidental bug that happened with the AI Changes. All we wanted was for Ally Attack to stop going off against Serpent Will heads and the tradeoff seems to be Neck HP mechanics got all screwed up.
This is especially bad for people without say Trunda. Trunda's A2 still functions normally against exposed necks because it's a single hit, so now she's potentially more OP again after the nerfs...
EDIT: Apparently this is WAI and if that is the case, I feel that all abilities that have a "Kill" condition should now proc when a Neck is fully depleted then
