I think the biggest problem with bringing her in for Hydra is - you're right, she brings a lot of benefits, BUT - those are only useful if they aren't just stolen and spread.

And, yeah, sure - block buffs, ACC down, RES up, etc. Of course there are ways of dealing with it. But the exact same target group you're preaching to, is the same group that may not have that luxury of choice. I think much more likely is they'll face serious buyer's remorse after getting and investing a ton of resources into him, only to use him in Hydra and immediately wipe.

If I were in a spot where I couldn't just do every single fusion, I think I'd be hard-pressed to convince myself this was the one to invest in.

It wasn't that long ago that the combo of Ally Protection & Strengthen was considered the best defensive combo in the game for all sorts of content.

I feel like if this was true it was at least 12 months ago, if not closer to 18.

I really think she's going to be suspect in Hydra unless you're rocking a ton of RES on most of your champs.

Well, Resistance is my middle name, but I don't really need Incarnate. I will probably go ahead and fuse her anyway, just because, but my post was really to try to give a counterpoint to all you peeps saying skip.... 

FWIW, I am using Islin in Hydra in exactly the same way that I would use Incarnate, but he offers AoE Dec Speed and some full-team passive healing instead of the shield....and his A2 buff decrease is equal to (or better than) her shield removal & random buff removal.      

I am loving the nerfs to the bosses.
