Very much agree here. Live Arena is always going to be P2W, regardless of mythical champions. Outside of that, it's nice to see Plarium continue to expand the content of the game.

Well, if they aren't just a change in game mechanics and something you can play, then champs are content, full stop. Plus look how much of the overall content Plarium has extended within the past year alone.
Honestly, I don't know why so many people on the net in general get so hysterical every time something new gets added to Raid. It's just a game, and if you're enjoying it already, then you can continue to enjoy it without touching any new content if you choose so.
I disagree with the thought of investment.
There is no new game content which would be investment in my opinion.
The only thing they do is adding new champions and new shards you can buy. This is not an investment and should be doable for a very low cost investment: recolor a shard, add some champions with a new set of skills....
The most invested time might be in the graphics and animation department...in which they are really top-notch....but this is not development of the game...it is development of sellable features and not gaming features....
Fair but I suppose I mean overall. Hard dungeons ( again a bit reskinny) and Shogun both came out this year. There is still The Great Void we don't know about yet, and an announcement of something September 5th. Which may just be the official announcement of Mythicals.
So Primal shards (currently only way to get Mythical Champions) can summon RARE/EPIC/Legend/Mythical champions ??????

Yes I spent 10K + on the game and only 3 key UNM CB and only 1 key NORMAL Hydra (get GuT)

It'll definitely chase some players away, and I agree it seems to be a soft reset they're shooting for. I'll reserve full jugdement until we get more info but we've seen the same doom and gloom before. Empowerment, Awakening, Gear Ascension, etc.
Some will stay, some will go, some new will join. IMO though at least one good thing to take away is they are still investing in development of the game.

Lmao, but I think we probably agree on 99% of things... just to make you feel worse :) Plarium is a casino company with solid analytics running the show, could they push the envelope too far? Maybe, but everything done the last year seems to be following a solid strategic business plan.
Pushing too far is part of that solid strategic business plan. They'll increase the squeeze whenever returns are not to their satisfaction, and they are well aware that the game has an expiration date and that one day they will squeeze just a bit too hard. They have no issues with killing the game when that happens, although it's more likely they'll just abandon it and let it stagnate into irrelevance. Power creep and content to make it relevant will take more and more effort to create, and at some point it's just easier to start over with a new game and restart the drip feed.

Lets be honest though guys? this is a business - of course they want to maximize profits for the lifetime of the product and the analytics have shown that the best way to that is to milk the krakens...hard.
I really would like to have the Dwarf, SKinwalker or the Sylvian Watcher one (mostly cuz i like sylvian watchers).
But they are called Mythical for a reason. Because most of us are never gonna see one, just rumors and old fishermen tales about it.

I don't feel the game is near the expiration point, so I'm actually guessing these champs will be less expensive than hypothesized by most to obtain. But nearly impossible to get as as f2p.

I am excited for these champions added to the game. But we know how much sacred shards cost and even soulstones. I highly doubt Primal shards will be less expensive than either of those two
To this day I have never purchased a single soulstone from shop. So I believe I can say with confidence I will never purchase a Primal shard given that they will be the most expensive with the least chance of summoning anything worth while(like RAREs)
Ever since I started doing NM/UNM cb I very rarely buy sacred shards anymore. Would be lovely if the new VOID thingy on the map yet to be filled was a boss that could drop Primal shards much like our current CB

The power creep directly impacts on the Reach Gold 1 in TAG - it's been a topic for a while in my Clan but with the introduction of the latest power creep (surge) champions it's almost impossible, I've been S4 for months and the teams in there near reset are crazy I can be green until about Friday but then my FTP defence has no chance when the race to go up to G1 starts so basically as I haven't got the Taras, Georgid, Marichka it's a good bet this is my last mission. Mythical will make TAG progression even worse than it is now
