Poly, the problem isn't your champs. Its your gear. I'm telling you with a very high degree of confidence, that the team I keep suggesting *will* work. The problem comes down to your stats.

• UDK - 300 RES, 3200+ DEF, 60K+ HP. Every other stat is irrelevant.
• Apoth - 200+ SPD. No other stat matters.
• Coldheart - 70% CR, 200 ACC, as much CDMG as possible, and any remaining stats into SPD.
• Visix - 200 ACC, 200+ SPD. No other stat matters. Turn off A2 and A3.
• Scyl - 200 ACC, 200+ SPD. No other stat matters.

If you can get those stats, you *will* win. Scyl will keep the spiderlings mostly stunned, UDK will absorb any spiderling damage, Visix and CH will prevent the boss from ever getting a turn.

I do agree with kram that this sounds like a question of gearing.

Even with crappy gear, you have probably 100 combinations that will auto 20... not sure where to start with a recommendation.

Would certainly benefit from some Dec Def, but we are where we are. Would also not turn off Visix's A2, so she can apply a Dec Speed debuff on everyone and help with our sustain with both Ally Protection and reducing attack count with Dec Speed.

Do Masteries and Books make a big difference?

The only person for whom they'll truly matter is Scyl. Unbooked, her value drops significantly. For everyone else, they certainly help, but they're probably not obligatory.

Still, if you have the books, I'd definitely recommend booking Apoth and CH, and getting masteries on CH. I would not bother booking or getting masteries for UDK or Visix. Scyl, you can decide for yourself - she has value in a lot of places, but she also is easily replaceable.

Visix will need books on her A1, to increase the turnmeter reducing effect to 100% chance.

Masteries on all champs (Warmaster/Giantslayer) would speed up the fight, but are not absolutely necessary.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say "needs". Yes, it definitely helps, but I'd expect even without it, she can still likely keep the boss controlled long enough to let CH cycle through the cooldowns.

But, if she can't, then I'd probably just swap her out for Armiger instead.

And scyl is not worth booking in general...

Apothecary and Coldheart? Great place to spend rare books.

Just to be clear - I wasn't recommending booking her. Was just saying, if she's unbooked, her value here drops quite a bit. Still - I'm not sure if there's a better replacement for her, even unbooked. The only alternative CC I see is Hellmut, but he's still 4*.

That said - I wouldn't be surprised if she'd still work just fine unbooked, especially if you can stick her in a stun set and give her Fearsome Presence.

Spider never gets a turn?

How are you proposing controlling the spiderlings? Relying on Drex is risky - if you don't have enough damage to kill the queen before Drex dies to the spiderlings, you're in trouble. Ontop of which, you need to make sure the spiderlings never attack anyone other than Drex.

That's why UDK is on the team, and why Apoth is there. Whether you need Scyl or not, though, is a valid question.

The Spiderlings of stage 20 will never attack somebody else instead of Drex if he is the only force affinity champion. Spider 20 is spirit, Drex has weak affinity here.

Scyl adds up very well to such a Drexthar-team, if he ever dies she can revive him with an ally protection buff.

My own Spider 20 team is Deacon (aura), Armiger, Scyl, Peydma (atk debuff on the Spiderlings), Drex. His hp burn takes the big Spider down in ~ 2 minutes, Deacon and Armiger keep the tm down, Peydma and Scyl keep Drex alive.

I built the team.  22:40 loss.  The spiderlings are surviving at a high rate.  Suggestions please.

The fact that your team is lasting so long means part of it is working. Is the queen getting a turn to heal?
