can you confirm that our CM has forwarded all the complaints *and* the "proof" to Plarium? (Screenshots, Names we have given you, coords, strange oocurances etc.) We understand your position well, and i appreciate it personally that you tell us, how Plarium is working and what they want to see.
I have asked her directly, and I can confirm that she did, if you allow me to trust her word. If not, then giving a positive answer is completely impossible.
Let me answer the rest as Crowbar a player, not a mod.
It just doesn't sound too good, if Mods are trying to hand out some explanation how RuAL could have possibly done this in a legit way, that looks pretty much like defending RuAL and the phlegmatism of Plarium.
I understand why you feel that way, but please read why you are wrong with it.
I, for one, allow the possibility that they are better players than I am. I also admit that the only way I see for them to do all that you guys are describing is a massive influx of rubies, whether they were bought for huge amounts of money or some less legal manner. It remains a fact that the money can accomplish all that. This is a pay-to-win game, let's not kid ourselves that it's not.
Troops? Buy them, then send them to prizes and revive them. When the prize gives you a payout, it roughly corresponds with what you sent, plus you get 70% of losses that you revived. It circumvents all the Smugglers' limits on how much troops you can buy. Expensive? Yes, indeed it is, but it is possible.
Sketches? Buy them for rubies, trade them with existing players for resources (I send you resources "for free", you send me the sketches that you don't need),... Possible. Also, much easier with alts, but not impossible without them.
If this still sounds like me "defending RuAL and the phlegmatism of Plarium", please notice that claiming that something is "possible" is not the same as claiming that it is "true". I have no way of knowing if it is true or not. Personally, I suspect a foul play, because I find it hard to believe that someone would spend so much on an on-line game, but my personal belief doesn't prove a thing.
We on Kabam had just one player like this, becoming all time #1 offender merely 2 months after creating his account (on a server that was then some 3 years old!), and I tried to crunch the numbers to prove the cheating. The only thing I proved is that you can buy pretty much anything if you're willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money. And without having access to Plarium's accounts, I can't really check that.
In the end, we're left with Plarium's responses, which we can accept or not, but neither of us can do much about them.
Game is dead anyway, since everything bought with real life money, everything collected ingame with a lot of effort, is worthless now. So you have collected 20K rubies by trying hard to win prizes? Worthless, since cheaters can have them just by pushing a button. So you got those first 1000 SoL? Worthless, because others, who play for barely 8 weeks, will have them due to scripting and cheating. And they will have so much more than you can ever imagine to have.
I'd agree, but the experience has thought me otherwise. I have full sympathy for the ruby boycott, but I've only seen these attempts fail, as there is no unity among players. As a fellow player, I do wish you luck with your current one, but I really don't think it'll yield the result that you wish for.
