well, in my case, i don't worry to much about infirmary capacity...


I rarely fight but when it happen, it is big... it involve million of troop and no infirmery have the capacity for it... in fact, i have over 20 mil troop in my city and same for a nig guy lvl 31, it is needed several attack for crack the nuts... first t1 die and fill the infirmerie, high lvl troop die later and are send to resurection ( that i don't do, training is cheaper )


As hero set, i have a bunch of them... one for killing invader, one for yielding, one for recherche, one for building, one for training, one for produce rss, one for archer, one for spy... it is all for now...

Thats great that you have done sets for different things(which is wise to do)...tho i would suggest that do those BIG 6 military knowledge at lvl11-12/15 and leave them there until u get big enough for rss needs. And for points i would suggest that leave offense for now until you have specific troop type. Offense is least counted compared to health and defense. So max out troop health and troop defense and then go for specific troop health and then its defense and then its offense. Which i did with my hero sets.
Yes that is what I planned to do next, max out Troop Health I, then Troop Defense I then after that go troop specific with Health, Defense,  offense II and then offense I and leave Troop Offense I and Troop offense II till last.

I only want the increased infirmary capacity for traps, let my shield drop after one attack re shield and all higher level troops that die will go to healing and the lower tier troops that do not fit into healing will go to resurrection.

Attack runes for all troop types would be dangerous indeed and I hope we never see them. As for gear you should put your runes in special sh gear not saracen. Choose a troop type and stick with it rest of the troops disband in the future, its way more practical for max effect of hero skills and for fast attacks. 

As for lynx gear I use 4 Stamina runes and 2 valor runes. For lynx you just wanna cover your troops and scouts together so any runes that cover all troops are good. 

Great Advice again thank you, I Really like the look of the new Appeal to the Gods Rune I will try and get 4 of them to add to the Lynx Armour along with 2 Valor Runes that you mentioned for some strange reason it's also know as Prowess on one of the Viking help websites. Just as a matter of interest do you use a separate hero set for scouts or not.

My uber killing set is set-up like yours, for my farm/bank accounts I move the sustained attack points to total energy as they only attack lv. 1 or 2 and this gives them more time to gather points.
Thats the way to do stuff buddy....I totally appreciate it and yeah you gave me another idea to do stuff with my bank..Thankx

Yes I mainly want to use my spies as an offensive weapon so I think Night Veil is the way to go however I do want to use my spies as a Scout trap too and maybe Lynx Gear would be better for this rather than Sigurd's gear as if the attacker just attacks and does not Scout First my other troops would be wiped out if I was in Scout Armour.

Which rune you will use will depend on how you want to use your spies.  As on offensive weapon use Night Veil, as more of a spy trap then Vengeance or Iron will.

As a person in the middle of researching shaman knowledge, don't waste your resources or time on them until you finish most of your other knowledge trees.  Try to get your oracle to level 27, that will allow you to access much more of the espionage tree.

i think that it is a waste to make epic armor, specialy these with usual material like Victor's bracelet or Falcon figurine...


Buy some clan task refresher in clan store, or with gold from event... once you have a bunch of them ( at least 50 ) ... buy the 25% extra experience for hero and shaman and make them roll... 2 epic task or a legendary task in a refresher will give you back 10000 pts in clan store, enough for buy a new clan task refresher... you will build up exp, receive ressource and from time to time material... easy way for have material for victor bravelet and falcon figurine

Now, gem are a other story... best to put 4 epic on 4 armor piece that 1 legendary on 1 armor piece... later, you can remove them with knife and improve them


Unfortunaly, gem for construction and research can only be found on some uber invader... none of the usual invader from lvl 1 to lvl 6 drop them


As material, if you have some hero energy, spare it for next week... it is invader hunt event for a week, mean a new invader each day... the next week end it is centurion and barbarian who are very rare... best to hit lvl 5 that lvl 6... max mat for lvl 5 is epic and max mat for lvl 6 is legendary... but a critical hit on lvl 5 give you legendary material... same reward that lvl 6 but for less energy



In my opinion, best way to get materials - farm 6 lvl invaders. I test it by myself: to kill 5 lvl Invader I need 18k-20k energy, for 6 lvl 25k-30k, but from higher lvl i have much more good material eather 5 lvl.

Your question was about scout defense but unfortunaly, i have no screenshot from scout defense... but i have from a recent archer defense...


look at the screenshot below... i am a lvl 25, almost 700 mil influence... attacker was lvl 29 with almost 4.7 billion influence... all his bonus that you can see at the end of the screenshot are way better that mine... only in my speciality archer, i am a little better...


So, how it come that i win the defence with a huge advantage ? i only loose 66k t1


Very simply, huge saturation level with t1...


Same can be apply for spy defense... few million of t1 spy with at least 100k t2-t3-t4 will do the job... t1 take the beating and t2-t3-t4 do the killing... with medium gear and research, you will be able to beat bigger guys in defense... only danger is a massivde onslaught where you can loose your saturation advantage... so, not long without shield or move regulary, so ennemy cannot setup a onslaught against you

well, i am only lvl 25, so you are not so far...


as combat armor, i have skip lynx and saracen... stronghold one combine the effect of both lynx and saracen... good for offence and defense


i have a few legendary armor : combat spy, combat archer, troop training, yielding, recherche, construction, killing invader, production


but since i have begin to play in juni 2017, i have spend each month 4.99 for a hero energy package... it is the only package that i buy each month... with time, it pay off... and only attack uber who have material or gems that i need


i have 4 other cities too, each hyperfarming one type of ressource... it is all they do and feed my main account in ressource who allow me to make plenty of expensive combat research...

I have a lot of 35% building and knowledge boosts that I use for big upgrades and a lot of 15 day and 7 days boosts that I use once i receive about 20 clan helps I also do the upgrades on the day that you get an extra 20% off the time 10% for a kvk or kvkr revenge win and 10% for the the knowledge of building speed bonus for that day and have bastion of the beast activated too. on a side note I am very very close to getting the  falcon figurine and victors bracelet.

I think it is a mistake to wait for legendary equipment for items that influence knowledge or construction times.  Even rare or epic Victor's Bracelet or Falcon Figure will save you a lot of game time and that is a precious commodity.  It is more important to get the first 20-30% off times than wait for weeks/months waiting to complete legendary equipment that give you only another 5-10%.  This is assuming you are not buying a lot material with coffers thru the Item store.
