Added:
• Improved military boosts
All "10-Minute Increased Offense, 100%" and "10-Minute Increased Defense, 100%" boosts (even those that players already have at their disposal) have been changed to "10-Minute Increased Offense, 500%" and "10-Minute Increased Defense, 500%" respectively. You can obtain new boosts in the Catacombs of Helheim.
Added at players' requests:
• An individual reinforcement troop headcount limit for each Fortress
Now each type of Fortress has an individual capacity for reinforcement warriors:
- Place of Power — 275,000,000 warriors
- Clan Strongholds — 265,000,000 warriors
- Towers of Fury — 230,000,000 warriors
- Throne of Jotunheim — 310,000,000 warriors
- Forts on the Islands of Trials — 310,000,000 warriors
• An improved version of the Global Map
The visual design of the Global Map has been updated.
Fixed:
• Missing resources after making a solo attack on a Fort.
During the update, access to the game will be restricted, but after the technical maintenance is over, you will receive a reward.
Important!
If you have any issues displaying certain game functions, please update Vikings: War of Clans to the latest version.

The reward never has enough value for missing my window of play time for the day and getting burned to the ground when I come back online. Or not being able to kill invaders/ghosts that are only out for limited time but needed for certain achievements.

How is this done from the browser version of the game rather than a mobile app or the plarium app?

I do not know if the update was good, I lost all the troops and many resources because the game was frozen and at the moment I do not see the improvement.
