Greetings, warriors! 

A brave Jarl, Bjorn, recently managed to defend his Town from espionage. He is sure that it was the gods and the big defense bonus from his scouts that helped him to win. 

Bjorn told us a story about some things that occurred the day before the battle. Read this story and try to work out the percentage by which Bjorn's scout defense increased. 

"My name is Bjorn. My Hero is level 48 and very tough, even with no upgraded Skills. I'm a member of a decent Clan, and recently our alliance upgraded our Clan Stronghold to level 2. Since then I've placed my Town near the Stronghold and haven't relocated anywhere. 

My builders erected six level 23 Mines and one level 27 Mine, and also upgraded the Wall and Watchtower to level 27. In addition, I've decorated my Town – now it looks like The Cradle. 

I didn't have any equipment, but I was inspired after all my great construction and decided to craft a few pieces. Before sending my Hero to attack Invaders, I crafted an Unusual Warrior's Helmet and Legendary Ice Boots from the materials I had. 

After that, I sent my Hero on a march. The Khazar was the first to be defeated, and as a reward I got a Legendary Amulet. The second piece of equipment acquired from another Invader was a Usual White Robe. 

The Hero put on all the equipment I had and continued wandering. They managed to emerge victorious over many other Invaders. As a result, various materials were obtained, and I crafted several pieces of equipment: Epic Harald's Tooth, Epic Eriс's Horn, Epic Olaf's Armor, and Epic Sigurd's Cloak. I crafted a weapon for my Hero from these pieces. During the crafting process, I remembered that the Total Defense bonus also increased the defense of my scouts. 

My Shaman brought me four Beast Shell Legendary runes. To receive power from the ancient runes, I inlaid them into my equipment. 

The King of Jotunheim favored our Kingdom and assigned it the Lands of Strong Shields Title. At the same time, our Konung envied my VIP level 25 and assigned me the Buffoon Repute."

Here is the explanation:

• Lvl 2 SH -> 8% Total Def.

You ask the value of the *increased* percentage, therefore, from lvl 26 to lvl 27 watchtower and wall increase 1% and 3% respectively.

• Watchtower -> 1% Total Def.

• Wall -> 3% Total Def.

• The Cradle town skin -> 2% Total Def.

• Unusual Warrior's Helmet -> 9% Total Def.

• Legendary Ice Boots -> No defense bonuses.

The text tell us that a legendary amulet was rewarded to Bjorn by killing the Khazar, but that's impossible, so, what I understand is that in the same way that he obtained the materials of the second invader that he attacked (a Royal Guardsman, I think) in order to acquire the White Robe, also he got the necessary materials from the Khazar to later make the amulet. This amulet would be the Inlaid Belt, which is the amulet that can be crafted with the materials obtained by killing the Khazar.

• Lengendary Inlaid Belt -> 9% Total Def.

• Usual White Robe -> No defense bonuses.

The weapon crafted whit Epic Herald's Tooth, Epic Eric's Horn, Epic Olaf's Armor and Epic Sigurd's Cloak is the Epic Brodir's Flail, which has 15% Scout defense, but this weapon is lvl 50, and Bjorn's hero is lvl 48, so Bjorn cannot equip his hero whit it.

Four Beast Shell Legendary runes can't be obtained so easy, but assuming that Bjorn got them somehow, even so he cannot inlay all of them, because runes can only be inlaid in legendary equipment, and there are only two legendary pieces: The Ice Boots and the Inlaid Belt.

• Beast Shell Legendary rune -> 9% Scout Def. (x2) = 18% Scout Def.

• Lands of Strong Shields Title -> 60% Total Def.

• VIP lvl 25 -> 23% Total Def.

•Buffoon Repute -> -75%

And that's it: 8% + 1% + 3% + 2% + 9% + 9% + 18% + 60% + 23% - 75% = 58%
