my guide for new players who cant be nothing more than farms for pro players :
DON'T upgrade ur main palace more than 5 , make EVERY thing in ur base lvl 5 and do all ur technology and make 1k-10k troops just for farming resources -make ur hero building 5 asap to get bonus points from tasks-researches-invaders etc - collect as much boosts and items as u can from events THEN find ur self good kingdom to relocate and u have good fast fresh start with fair troops and high lvl hero and fast upgrading

Knowledge is key..advance your hero in mass knowledge. Use all the hero sets available. Customize each hero set to do exactly what you want it to do. Then match gear to each specified hero set. Fyi troops on tiles are basically defenseless. Farm in low numbers and lowest teir troops for minimal points lost in events and they are not as costly to replace. Game id 17860100

Reason:
No Single Jarl can kill with 1 march 70m Troop 1 with 10m Troop 5/6 as backup.
Onslaughts gonna take more than 5x with bigger Jarl to get through.
