I have attacked a couple of towns with shields down in another kingdom and literally got my butt kicked, and this was with a lot of troops. What are towns doing to be this strong defensively without a shield?

a) try to keep your influence as low as possible
b) have only the defensive buildings (wall, watchtower) + Mead Hall and the ones u REALLY need maxed to maintain (a)
c) build tons of T1 as meatshields (they dont swing the influence very much, even in larger numbers)
d) have ppl reinforce you that are higher than you, best with full Lynx / def setup gear (let them send their T5s)
e) burn some -enemy HP/DEF/ATT boosters
f) oh, as well as the buildings, only have troop related knowledge maxed and
g) skill your hero all the way defensivly

Have to agree for need for separate Clan Stronghold Vault and , ideally, immune from attack.
Not only is it annoying to have to sit under a shield but difficult to separate what is Clan contribution and what is Chief's own rss.
Hope something can be done as part of the next update especially as the lvl 5 town loop hole has been closed.

Can anyone tell me why your clan would not put rss in the SH but instead put it in one players pocket. and when you look at the stronghold send resources it shows that it is going to a member who is not even the leader? what if he lets his shields drop the rss the whole clan gathered would be lost in a minute

Because rss from the SH can not be sent back to the players. This one player - bank, his priority task is to monitor his shield and issue resources. Usually there are several banks in a clan.

I got burned literally when I first joined by a clan that did that. The chief said send all rss to him. He dropped his shield let his real clan take everything then about 10 players out of 63 left to go back to their clans leaving about 50 newbies burning. Most quit the whole game. This clan has been formed partially by members of those clans. One has been inactive for 3 weeks because I think they got a new account and started this clan. I won't lie I have my own clan I went in the clan that faked the other clan as a spy they went inactive and some left behind were really in bad shape some pretended to be and one who pretended became elder straight away in new clan. If you ask about the rss they get pissed with you. They have about 60 people and are doing the exact same thing they did before. They have different names but same M.O. and personalities. I do not know how to help the 50 people I believe are about to get stolen from and burned. Just sitting and watching hoping it is not true, but I know it is.

Yea there are some pretty "shady people" in game ... one has to be careful who they trust ... I took like a month and a half before I joined a clan and observed to see who to trust and who not to trust ... I've been in my current clan now for over 6 months and we are a very nice and tight clan ... but there are a lot of not so great clans in the kingdom and people who have pulled some pretty shady tricks ...

Currently SH are limited to lv 2, so after awhile a clan reaches it limits on buildings and knowledge and can't grow the SH any further. I am guessing that some of the bigger clans would like to see the next level, lv 3, of SH be released by Plarium

Hi ,Super new here and not sure if there even is a place to ask this question so sorry in advance . But just curious on the different opinions to gauging when to transform rss super cheap/expensive outside of a event.

I am having a hard time understanding what you guys are saying about the stronghold - my clan is currently struggling to farm for one and I have to stay shielded to build this massive ammount of rss up.
After we build it - do I still have to stay shielded so the resources don't get lost cause I understood that you can just send them to the stronghold.

So one set of transformations for food, lumber, stone finished outside of cvc and we got no points ... but during cvc we had a transformation done for each resource. I recommend you always transform to make maximum amount you can of ale, plates, etc. so at first that is 2000. We are a smaller clan (4M) influence so that is how we handle it ...
