Finding an accurate, real-time food consumption rate across all entities is definitely challenging due to the complexity of factors like population, production, and distribution. However, there are tools and databases that track food consumption patterns on a global scale, though they may not always offer live, up-to-the-minute data. Some platforms like the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) provide periodic reports that could offer insights into current trends. There isn’t really a single in-game screen that shows a perfectly accurate, real-time food consumption total for everything. The best approach is to add up the hourly consumption shown for your troops and other food-consuming entities, then compare it with your food balance over a fixed period. That should give you a reliable current rate.

It’s similar to checking the current power usage of a commercial 2 door fridge  rather than relying on an older estimate.
