Make it so you have to build it then would be like Altar of Mara...would cost resources to generate Sapphires i like it!

Isn't that what a Hamlet is? It would be more of a prize if they were unraidable and in the castle like another building as well as upgradable to give more for each level.

So my army plunders your castle for food, gold and iron but ignores the fields of sapphires? 

They dont need to bother coming home if they are that dumb 

Maybe if the person doesn't collect from their fields,  the raider can take what's there.

Another option would be to put sapphires in,  and get more sapphires out,  but while it's growing,  others can raid to steal them. ie, I put 5 sapphires in field,  and one hour later,  i get 10 sapphires back,  but during that hour, I have a flag on my castle,  and if someone succeeds in raiding me,  they get my 5 sapphires...

Again more fields, more sapphires, or anything else can be both entertainment and rewarding. Please continue commenting.

can any one plz explain me , what does this old fart ( who does nothing but sending 5-10 units after you come back  from a long break, let alone fighting Balur) means  by saying "Sapphire fields to appear in your Castle!" ??
Is it means a sapphire hamlets near to one's castle or some sapphire generator inside one's castle ??
