I am glad there are changes you like, Niekie. On the matter of positions, there are a few things to keep in mind:

• Your "battle record", i.e. the troops you have lost, is not shared between different servers. So yes, the rewards will definitely differ for you when you play on Server 1 or Server 2.
• In general, I would advise against jumping between Position levels. The situation you described in your previous post makes me suspect that all the hard work you've put into battling Xerxes' hordes has gone into rewarding you for those level 47+ Positions, which is why the number of Troops you've seen there was better than that of the higher level Positions you did in the same Tournament. 
• Higher level Position do require a lot more work and many people stick to one of the medium "tiers" as part of their strategy, all is viable if it works for you!
