I had hope to spend many more years playing this game, but there's a time to think about real life.  I don't for see me doing this now as the packages until are becoming too expensive for the average plyer. So today I deleted my cc details -  no impluse buying, and will slowly reduce my game time and expenditure.  Certain players have been able to manipulate the currency's for years, when many more found out and started to do the same..... whoa....  So good luck to you all.

Guys, it was necessary for plarium to stop this exploit.  Can't you see how some players getting a 90% discount while others who happen to not be aware of it pay full price is unfair and game breaking?  If you think plarium should lower the prices of packages for everyone that's a separate discussion and there are some valid arguments for it, but this bug needed to be fixed.  

Of course reducing prices gives even more advantage to coiners because they get more for their money, while the troops you get from building, participating in tournaments, doing hamlets etc. stay the same.  So yeah, the $10 a month you spend would get you more, but that guy who spends $1000 a week will get more as well so he'll still crush you.  The price change from ARS was only an advantage if you knew about it and other people didn't.

As I stated before, right or wrong, ARS gave players a taste of what fun it use to be to play the game.  Sure it was a bug that needed to be fixed but that doesn't negate that those players experienced a renewal of fun in what had been a declining game.

Plarium may well roll the dice expecting these players to either return to a subpar playing experience or leave but expecting all the other players to continue. Trouble is I can see vast numbers of dead cities as old & new players leave as can others.  The game was becoming sour and will continue down that road regardless of pretty new troops and such that are dangled in front of us as they don't really increase our fun. Removing ARS doesn't in any way solve the game's reasons for declining and no one at Plarium seems interested in doing so.

If anything we've been made more aware of what has been lacking in the game for quite some time. I must also say that I find it difficult to swallow your statement (though I believe you made it honestly) about how unfair ARS was to the players who knew nothing about it while it is fine for coiners to dominate the game.  Different advantages my friend and fairness only seems to be defined in game by whether Plarium makes the money. The game isn't set up for fairness, only for Plarium to make money.  Sad thing is I have no objection to them making money or even that coiners will always have an advantage as long as I also have fun and that's been declining and now severly stunted.

A game is meant to be FUN.

Plarium put in ARS  not us. You have still not explained how some players new it was going to dissapear over month ago giving them a huge advantage. Something clearly needs looking into.

I really dont care that some players (coiners) spent thousands,.There are coiners in every game. ARS allowed small /medium spenders to build units etc and advance their game and have FUN at min expense.

Now at a stroke you have taken the FUN out of the game.

When the FUN stops, we stop.

The simple fact is ,Plarium are trying to extract money from the players and we are not buying.

The packages on offer are overpriced nonsense. Bring back ARS for EVERYONE or packages with ARS cost but with same content.

PS,a group of small /medium players can cause immense damage to any coiner. ie pans/cap city/ traps in individual cities. this game needs skills not just coiners.

Without the small/medium player there is no game, nor will there be any FUN for a lonely group of coiners ,to scared to att each other in case the other guy has a bigger army and more money

pps. ARS was not a bug, Plarium put it in.

well its friday night now over 2 weeks since i bought anything from palariums overpriced table just sitting piccking up the free scaps they throw me if it takes me a year to get to next level well so be it i would usually sit for hours on a friday night playing but real life calls   so all i have is in acropolis   and im going out to enjoy myself   THANKS AGAIN PALARIUM
