the best solution would be a community manager acting as a community manager.

For example, that answer is not the best answer a community manager should give (community managers are here to understand the audience, creating a community in order to support a brand), shutting down users that try to communicate is not one of the main duties... is basically the oposite, and that's the kind fo answer you ONLY give us.

Good day! The thing is that even I don't know all the conditions for VIP club membership. 

The selection process is fully automatical. The system determines users that meet some special conditions and gives them a quest to join the VIP club. 

If player is very active in the game it's possible that he can receive a VIP quest in the future.

i'll try to explain VIP,as i see:

to be VIP you need to coin a lot,to buy plarium's packages,its money related,nothing more.

before,CM and Morteeee,start to explain how it is not truth.......see for yourself:

Can you at least ask the dev team to look into changing the bug reporting system - until you find a way to start looking into forum bans and their appeal system?

Many of the people wrongfully banned were long term forum users with many many posts - all helpful - most answering questions put to the forums by other players.

Several were your play test volunteers, and frequently assisted with bug detection and repair.

All of us in the forums, and all of us that play the game suffer every time a person that helps others gets banned with out any way to appeal the ban.

Just this week i was reading messages from a Mod that accidentally banned people for 3 years instead of a day !!!!!

the trouble is that you have many people that were banned - we feel it was not fair

one example was the dozen soldiers the last forum com manager banned for up to 2 years each - accused of being one person spamming the forums ... they appealed and wrote the com manager explaining that they were on deployment and share a computer .... that they are different people and use different credit cards with different names on them to purchase drachma packs, that they can prove their identity with pictures of drivers licenses and military id cards to match the credit cards on file ... but no one will check their messages or appeals

The com manager ignored their situation and their messages - when they were clearly told to send a personal message 

We are not allowed to discuss the bans in the forums !!!!!!

I risk a ban just bringing this up - this is not right and is not fair to anyone.

I think it is very possible that others that claim they were wrongfully banned might have been banned by mistake, or by over zealous moderators.

Do you feel that wrongful bans should not get any appeal ?

Do you feel it is fair that paying customers can not use bug reporting or request things like relics that were not issued to them because they can not appeal a forum ban - as described in the rules even when they did not break any rules?

I find your comment "do not break forum rules" to be insulting and obnoxious - the appeal process is for people that did not break any rules and is not a solution to anything. 

HGranCartago ... there is something else i can tell you.

My group of friends includes 31 VIP members, many are in my coalition.

Only 2 are from the U.S.A.  most of them are from Europe

We have a large number of people that spend a lot on their accounts - Most our spenders do not have VIP status, and no new VIP status has been given in over a year.

Hope this information helps, and I hope you have better luck then we do at getting VIP status  :P

I do not understand the vip selection process, it is still a mystery to most of us but i can offer you some information we have been told.

(I am not a VIP yet - but our group have been given information from the developer teams and VIP agents)

Our group was told that VIP status is given to players based on many factors ... placing well in monthly rankings, being active daily, participating in tourneys, using coalition chat, helping others in your coalition, defending other members cities, loosing large numbers of troops in pan and capital defense, having your account for many years, forum participation, and being online a lot.  

We are told there are many other things that can be taken into consideration, we do not know all of them, but we have been told that spending money is not one of them.

We have a member of our coalition that has VIP status and has not spent money on his account. (his city is lower level and not fully developed)

His understanding is that he was helping new players learn the game and teaching them how to grow their cities and was noticed by a VIP agent.

When he was given his VIP status, our hedge and several of our coiners were not VIP (most still are not)

I also understand that all selections for VIP are done by the employees in the VIP program. The forum mods, and community manager have no information on the VIP program, and can not offer VIP status.
