We added a confirmation window to our admin system that will prevent enabling Offers that exceed a certain limit.

So, such cases really shouldn't happen again in the future and I hope they won't.

alina, is still happening, not the offer only, the fact that low players with no general "ramdon" (yeah random, but active players none get it, only those that do not have them, low level, very specific target) get 9 chest of legendary class 4 

this week - 2 dozen members of our coalition have received 3 legendary tier 4 generals gear coffers with keys .... times 3 (9 tier-4 generals gear) from single legendary or basic coalition chests (the reward for purchasing drachma packs that every member of our coalition gets)

one member has found this package 3 times (27 tier-4 generals gear) in one day

(some like me only found 9x tier3 uncommon items)

when these chests mostly seem to offer things like 5 drachma, a single upgrade sketch, 1000 of a resource, a single scout, other very small rewards that are not worth the time to open the chest .... it seems like 9 legendary top tier generals gear is not in sinc with the normal rewards

is this a bug?  is this supposed to be happening? 

the x3 multiplayer is very much like the erroneous drachma pack that was offered by mistake from palarium during their x11 sale

were the 3 generals gear items plus keys just supposed to be the "jackpot" reward ... and multiplying it by 3 is a mistake?

or are we supposed to find 9 items in a single chest ?

no ... even if you open all the items are listed individually 

there are the image for generals gear items (gold colour) box ... and this is very very different than the image of a coffer

the coffer shows 3 and a key symbol - and at the bottom of the little box is a number 3 (the same as the 3 in bottom corner of the sales pack that was offered by mistake) and it offered 33 items if you recall ... the 3 coffers in the box times the 11 in the bottom corner for the 11/11 sale

when i got the 9 uncommon items ... it was from opening a single box

this is something many many people have found - not just me (in fact it is mentioned above hijadelafor so i believe she found this as well

Also the 9 coffers with keys have the keys .... in your inventory you get 9 coffers unopened

When you get a single generals gear - it is just the item in your inventory - you do not need to open the coffer (you do not have the option of opening the coffer)

some people have found more than one of these when opening 6 or 7 boxes - it is not an uncommon find

(well the top tier seem to be harder to come by, but everyone is finding the 9 uncommon items)

this is why i ask if it is a bug - we are truly getting 9 coffers with keys from a single coalition chest, and they are not even the highest level chests

this seems odd as the other boxes offered 300 lumber, 1 upgrade sketch, 5 drachma, 1 common generals gear item, a recharge for guardians and 5 xp ... then 9 coffers with keys

you can see in the photo of the 3 as one item

the second one is "one random one" (i have nothing against a ramdom one to be good), but thats 3x3, thats 9 chests of legendary 4 ...

and we are here saying that its happening for over a long month, small players with no legendaries seems to get it many times, experience & active  players never (also the ramdom does not seem that random when a level 60 get this 9 chests even 3 times in a month and active players none)

i believe its plarium on purposse to make people buy pieces to break, as business is going down  ... but to most of us, its an indication to spend even less .... why buying guardians? soon we may have them free, why bother buying when in the future they will be given by free as the general chests? all actions have a reaction.

moortee if you say that are free in tournament, i would love to know what numbers the players in fb do in guardian tournaments... to see if they are the same as here (but thats another topic)

This game is jacked up and ever since the 33 legendary chests with keys, I have all but given up playing.  I have spent a fortune on this game and for what?  

My group have been watching and recording the 9 coffer drops from coalition chests.

Things changed a few weeks ago - now they drop in groups of 6 or 9 - it is not just 9 anymore, but they still gift large numbers.

What we have noticed is that the accounts of levels 70 to 83 seem to get them constantly (almost every account in that range has found 18 to 78 legendary tier-4 items) the accounts from level 84 to 89 have seen much less (from zero to 18)   and the accounts above 89 do not find any (zero coffers across 14 accounts ... as in never seen a tier-4 legendary drop)

it would appear that the drops are not random at all as friends with high rank in other coalitions are telling me that they do not see these chests in their high level accounts ever (mind you they have not been looking or recording drops) but constantly find them in lower level (80 ish) accounts.

I would value input from other players here - are you guys finding multi coffer drops from coalitions chests?  What level is your city?

I am interested to know if it is just bad luck for our group? or are other people finding lower level accounts seem to be finding way more of these items.

(our test group is only 42 accounts and has watched well over 200 coalition chests)

Oh my! I can't say that I am happy to see what happened with those chests but at the same time I am not terribly upset. 

A lower level player that does not do high level positions or spend much on the game will likely never get the amount of pieces to get maximum benefit from the legendary gear anyway.

Most top players have all the pieces anyway and have had them maxed for a while now. 

If you don't have a full set I get that it stings a bit to see that, but I do believe it was an honest mistake and hopefully the developers can make some improvements / additions to the generals gear that can keep that feature moving forward. 

If anything perhaps it's time to add a higher tier of general gear. Maybe a more powerful mythic level that if completely maxed out can offer another 10-20% boost to combat stats when completed? 

Of course it would have to be incredibly rare and the cost to upgrade high. 

That will give advanced players something to work on long term with the projected time to get the full set with max levels taking 1-2 years.

Then perhaps we can loosen up the rarity of the current gear and give everyone else a chance to catch up a little bit, thus making completed legendary sets more of the norm with variations in individual power being the number of upgrades performed. 

it is more an issue of the guys that did half measures

if you have a player that worked on gear but did not dedicate the time and effort that the big guys did - to get a full set and max the level - they are kind of screwed

lower level people that have not done any positions ever have full set - and an inventory stuffed full of tier-4 gear waiting to break

(they are complaining that they get gear much faster than they can possibly break it)

they are upgrading gear at an astounding rate

the high levels have maxed gear already

the mid level guys that purchased a little gear (the 3 legendarys you can buy) or that worked their position levels to somewhere around 100 to 120 and earned a piece or 2 of top tier legendary gear, but did not dedicate the number of troops or time to getting full sets of gear - they are being surpassed by everyone else

not exactly a balanced game play - 

it is frustrating the guys that worked hard for years to get the advantage the gear offered

it is not fair to the guys that spent some money but not large amounts, or that did some serious labour to get gear, but cant compete with the guys that did nothing, or the guys that already have the gear

but i admit it is a massive boon for the alt accounts and low level players that make up the majority of the sparta population - top tier generals gear with out ANY effort, and completely free of charge.

Members of our coalition - including myself - have found coalition chests with 50 coffers plus keys, 30 coffers plus keys, and piles of 12's, and 9's.

They come in legendary tier4, legendary tier1, rare tier3, uncommon tier3, uncommon tier1 - all coffers and keys from a single chest will be identical 

The rarity of the chest does not seem to effect the content when it comes to coffers, however players of higher levels, and that have unlocked high level positions do not receive these as content of coalition chests.

The reward in Coalition Chests is given randomly.

The General's Equipment you receive doesn't depend on your level, on how many PP you played and so on.

What do you base this information on Alina?

All evidence we have ... everything we see and know tells us that this is not random.

If it was meant to be random, then you have a massive error in your programming because it is not.

To my knowledge - you are the ONLY person that feels it is random.  Saying it is so does not make it so.
