Greetings, heroes of Teleria!
Here are the April Champions that will join the fray at the start of the nearest fusion.
You might have already seen our new champions tried and tested by our Content Creators. So have we 😉 Having watched the videos, we performed additional testing of the champs, and it became clear that one of the new champions, Giscard The Sigiled's, Skills needed adjustment. So, when the champioln appears in the game, his "Lion's Roar" will have CD of 3 turns, when maxed out, and his passive skill "Egotist" will fill the Turn meter by 15%. This way, the champion is more balanced and fits better in the current meta.
Hello!
About Champions for Skin Walkers, Dwarfs and Lizardmen - yes, we plan to add more characters for those Factions. Our artists are constantly looking for new designs and graphic ideas, while game designers meticulously calculate all the stats and skills for new Champions. We want new Champions to look fresh and to be a meaningful addition to existing ones to create interesting synergies in terms of gameplay. This is a laborious process, but we already have numerous ideas for new Champions to implement in due time. We will keep you updated about the arrival of new Champions.
About the Fusion schedule - thank you for expressing your preferences about the Fusion. You may see the timetable of the related Events and Tournaments in the game. The timetable has appeared there at 10.05 am UTC today (13 of April).
We appreciate your eagerness to rationalize and systematize this part of the game activity!
Anyone who's currently struggling with arena should consider passing on this fragment/fusion event (unless you're confident you can pick up extra fragments by coming 1st or 2nd in tournaments). If you got all fragments except those available from Arena tournaments and 1st/2nd places, you'll still be 10 fragments short on two of the epic champs. Makes the following statement seem very disingenuous:
"so you can hoose which Events and Tournaments to take part in."
Except for arena.
So, in order to have this fusion done, you need to claim all fragments available in EVENTS and TOURNAMENTS, no need to be 1st place or 2nd, but you cant skip any. Little by little, fusions/fragments events are getting harder for F2P players. We just finished the Yoshi one, and this is tougher. Arena would be an issue. I use to be Gold IV and sometimes made into platinum, but actually is difficult to be en Gold II/III.
Just my 2 cents.
I've been in the game a few months and seen in forums concerns on how Plarium only pays attention to whales and leaves FTP behind. I've been FTP and have been able to get Iron Brago, Astralon and Yoshi. I thought those events were difficult, but fair. The toughest two events - summoning and chase - had rares or fragments at reasonable levels with epics or additional fragments not needed to complete the event higher up where whales were free to get the epic in addition to the legendary or accelerate their completion. I saw the game as tempting to spend money on but allowed for players to do events without spending if they chose. Then this event came along. If the tiers are as I fear, the 20 fragments for Mordecai and therefore Brogni are both going to be higher in shard events. This happening after 3 day shard 2x, Yoshi and 10X events. I kept my ancients through those as I was conscious of future events and have a couple Relic keeper parts ready but there is no way I make it through both of these events with high point requirements. This would rule out getting both the epic HP Burn champ and the legendary. I thus, have to concede that those that say it is a money grab have a point. We have yet to see the point requirements on the summoning and chase but I'm not optimistic. What a shame as I spent two weeks getting prepared for a fusion. If I had known this was going to be a shard fusion I could have focused on other things. Letting us know there is a fusion upcoming and releasing the champions to build excitement are great, but missing something in the communication when we see the event and are excitement is turned to dismay. I guess it is still possible those point requirements aren't as high as feared and this is a 2 year celebration for us as well as Plarium's revenue.
(Also add in that with champion chase at the beginning we won't even get credit for summoning the three epics.)
Plarium - the fusion format (fragement collector for Epics) in "spirit" was a good idea, BUT the execution as usual is horrible. Way too little leeway for non-spenders to actually get the shards for the Epics, and event spacing makes a two-day rush at the end. You'd be better served to increase shard availability by 10-15 per Epic to provide some flexibility / leeway, and to extend the ending by 3-4 days.
This event come across as nothing more than a greedy-cash-grab and is irritating your free-to-play and low-spender player base.
