Update 10.20 brings a slew of QoL improvements to make your time in RAID that much easier, and the Highlights we have prepared will give you an early heads-up about these upcoming changes. Hydra Quick Battles may be the most significant thing on our list, but Super Raids for Campaign Stages, Clan Level increase, AI improvements, UI changes, and more should not be overlooked either!
Let’s take a closer look.
Hydra Quick Battles
Reducing the time required to deal with the Hydra has been among the most frequent requests we’ve heard from the Community, and now, we have a solution. As promised in the 8th episode of What’s Next In RAID, Hydra Quick Battles are coming to the game, and here is how they will work.
Quick Battles will be available once you’ve dealt enough damage to receive the highest value Hydra Chest with just one Key on a specific Difficulty. Doing so will immediately unlock Quick Battles for that Difficulty and every Difficulty below it. Once unlocked, you will have a total of 5 Quick Battles available per Weekly Hydra Cycle (overall, not 5 per Difficulty).
Once activated, Quick Battles will launch a background Auto mode fight against the Hydra and calculate the results. This may take up to several minutes, depending on the number of turns your team can survive. Then, you can either commit a Hydra Key and keep the results or discard them without spending the Key. You’ll see an info pop-up on the Team Selection screen before the Battle; tapping it will give you a refresher on how it works and how many Quick Battles you have remaining.
Important Disclaimer: Hydra Quick Battles will become available at 12:00 UTC on the day of the Update, which means some players will get their Hydra Weekly Cycle reset before that. Keep an eye on the news in-game, and don’t spend your Hydra Key immediately if you want to test the Quick Battles ASAP.
Campaign Super Raids
Another feature aimed at reducing the time required for menial game tasks is the introduction of Super Raids to the Campaign. With that option available, you can farm Silver and Experience much faster, which means faster progression for your Champions! To unlock Super Raids, you just need to complete the Campaign Stage in question with at least 1 Star.
Otherwise, they work exactly the same as Dungeon Super Raids: one Battle fought, twice the Energy spent, twice the rewards earned. They will also count as two Battles for the purpose of various quests.
Clan Level Increase & Clan Relics
As of Update 10.20, we will add 5 more Clan Levels (to a total of 30). Furthermore, 2 new Slots will be added to the Clan Shop - these will contain some awesome new goodies such as Rank 1-3 Basalt, Gemstone Boxes that contain a random Gemstone, and Relic Crafting Materials to create Relics of the new Clan Group.
There will be 8 Relics in that Group: 2 Rare, 2 Epic, 2 Legendary, and 2 Mythical Relics.
Miscellaneous
- For the sake of convenience, we’ll add Champion names and Factions to the Soul Collection, Soulstone x10 Summons, and Limited Summon Event in the Altar of Souls.
- 20 Champions will have their AI adjusted to perform better in Auto Battles, including Hydra Battles. We will release a separate news article to describe those changes later.
- Another change we’ll implement is to make sure that when a Champion’s Skill states that they are “Immune” to certain debuffs or effects, that they are truly immune to those things. If another skill states that it will place guaranteed debuffs, ignore a portion of the target’s RES, or ignore [Block Debuffs] buffs, it will still not bypass “Immunity”.
- A new option to hide Faction Guardians will be added to the Champion Filter.
- Tapping the Champions button on the Team Selection screen of Doom Tower Secret Rooms and Faction Wars, will take you to the Champions window with Champion Filters already active.
- New Avatar Frames will be added to the game.
- Event Tab UI will be updated to highlight the rewards you can expect in Events and Tournaments.
if you must add new champs every month give us some more common food champs the variety of commons is so limited and as we just eat them anyways having 5 common eatables per faction would be nice, and so many races are missing them, and they at least wouldn't be watering down the pool of champs we want... besides the artwork additions would be a welcomed relief...
in clan vs clan add 4 more tiers to the selection to limit the amount heavy clans going against the lighter clans... tier 1 cutoff should be at 600k points... seeing a tier 1 clan doing under 600k vs a heavy tier one clan doing over 1 million points per clan vs clan... really, isn't fair...
I personally apperciate the (updating) work Plaruim has been doing. Im not super pumped about Hydra changes, but im still able to 1 key the levels I need. I love this game and just like life, we need to roll with the punches. Keep moving forward guys and I look forward to seeing whats in store for 2025.
The new clan levels and the relic store introduction must be the WORST implementation in this games history. No one, and I mean NOT ONE SINGLE CLAN, in this game will be able to purchase any relics or relic materials in many many years. Why even add it to the game? I don´t understand it. Do you think we are going to be excited to be able to purchase this in the year 2030??
I dont understand why do you have to limit the amount of hydra auto -battles ? Honestly for competetive clans and with the amount of RNG included in hydra it doesnt do anything... you will still have to 1h+ manual your best team on Nightmare to run it to the best results ... I tried my team autos and honestly the difference is around 100 - 150M dmg cause of the wonky AI ( AI doesnt consider cooldowns , or turns left on the decapitated heads, or which one of them has a serpent will or poision cloud on, it prioritize positive affinity in most of the cases, it doesnt save abilities for when the poision clouds runs out to release a champion that has been devaured its just wonky overall). You can regroup unlimitedly so why not to make it possible to run auto-battles as many times as we want till we hit rougly similar numbers as on manual ?
And honestly bring some more levels to mino already ,, how many times do we have to ask for it here or facebook or through CC's before you drop another 10 levels and super raids. ( Love the super raids in campaings tho well done on that).
Backround battles anytime soon ? Bored of watching the screen with no option to do anything else while running champion training.
And as it was mentioned already, please take a look at some of the oldest champions such as altan , and others ... poor guys need a buff desperately to be any use at all against the metas right now. Single hits with a random increase def are not cutting it anymore.
I'm a new player, started to play 2 months ago more or less and i can say the tag team arena, mino and hydra (who i can fight for 10 sec only, i guess will get better with time) are the most tedious things in this game
could you delete the daily mission: Win 1 LA-Fight or change it to Take part in 1 LA-Fight? It is so damn stupid much of time to make 10 fights in the hope to win 1 of them.
You used to have the artifact set "frenzy" with the ability to increase turn meter the lower the champions health was. This made champions with the life swap ability actually relevant and worthwhile. since the Frenzy set was altered i have been unable to find a use for any of these champions. Any chance of going back to that?

They could put some of the low end relic mats in for lower level clans. Just like you can buy a rare tome earlier on, but get a leggo tome at higher end.
So quick battle for Hydra is just as bullshit as Clan Boss. Only favors the PAY players with OP teams. What a joke.
How do you figure this? Clan Boss doesn't favor anyone. Everyobody can build their team to the point of unlocking instant battles. Any free to play player that has played for more than a couple of months can do this on at least the lowest levels.
Hydra will be the same. The only thing that doesn't make sense is allowing only 5 quick battles.
in clan boss battles, change the instant battles so that a player using two keys per clan boss to get a minimum chest reward can use them as well...
The idea for instant Clan Boss battles is to give you a goal to work towards. Keep building your team until it's good enough. You get rewarded with quick battles once you've mastered that game mode.
This is a very welcome change! I don't understand why they are limited to 5, but just having them will be great. Please reconsider the limit. There really doesn't need to be a limit. Or at least explain why you chose to do that.
Campaign Super Raids
Also a very welcome change! Background battles would be better, but I'll take this food grinding time savings over nothing.
Clan Level Increase & Clan Relics
This does seem a little unnecessary. Maybe it's future planning as more clans do reach the final level, but the relics could easily have lower level mats available to lower level clans. Much like how you can buy rare tomes earlier on, but get legendary tomes later.
Champion names and Factions to the Soul Collection
Hallelujah! What a simple thing to do that should have been done in the first place. It's about damn time.
Option to hide Faction Guardians
I'm not sure what the real value is for this. I love the idea of hiding champions I never want to look at, but a lot of my faction guardians include at least one champion in the pair that is built and being used. This filter would hide those champions as well. I think a better solution would be to make another vault that is dedicated to faction guardians. Only faction guardians can go in there, and with no gear. This way the ones that will never be built or used in any fashion can be locked away, never to be seen again.
Doom Tower Secret Rooms and Faction Wars Auto Filtering
Since they implemented this in Sintranos, I've always thought it would be great to have in other areas. It's a simple but welcome change.
As usual, some great QoL changes. Not perfect, but some good stuff. Keep it coming, Plarium! Just keep listening to the community. Well, not everyone. There are a lot of whiners out there that don't really think through or understand how these things come to fruition, but great efforts recently!
Took one month to come up with "improvement" for Ultan who remains trash after the update.
Would be nice for clans below level 20 to also get some relic stuff in the clan shop, whats the point to limit those to high end clans, another failure.
