Hey, Raiders! We’re ironing out the final creases before Update 4.70 goes live, but we’re ready to share some of the details with you. This time, you can expect to see several cool QoL improvements and a Champion rebalance to address some of the most immediate PvP & PvE troubles. Read on to find out more!
Boss Guides
First of all, we’re introducing a neat little feature that will let you - whether you’re a green newbie or a grizzled veteran - learn more about various Raid Bosses and how to beat them before you get into a fight. Every Dungeon, every Boss Stage in the Doom Tower, Faction Wars, and even Clan Boss Battles will all feature a special pop-up that contains a full description of the Boss’ Skills and the overall strategy you’ll need to deal with them. The pop-up menu will be accessible via a special button on the Battle Selection screen.
If that alone isn’t enough, the second tab will feature a list of Teams of the Week that, as the name suggests, were the most successful at dealing with that particular Boss. With this feature, you’ll be able to plan and adjust your Teams before entering a difficult Battle and, we hope, it will make the experience a lot smoother!

To break the mold a bit, i am giving a bit of feedback on the new champions.
These new champions require a bit more work before they head out to the public. Namely the new legendary, which is overshadowed even by epics and rares.
Apart from the novelity of decreasing buff duration by a 1 turn upon being damaged. It also has got an extreme low probability of it happening. (20%, 40% on bosses) It really doesn't fit the legendary status and it appears everyone is also equally apathic of this champion.
The new epic Scabrius (rat one), should rather be changed to an defense type/support, with the passive decreasing damage rececived, instead of increasing.
Duhr: Is a fantastic entry to the demon faction, that deeply needs revive champions. Only thing i'd really advise would be changing the A1 (first skill) to increase (or decrease) turn meter on hit, instead of stun which makes no sense on his kit.
These are my only concerns, would be happy if heard.
Good luck guys.
You are most certainly heard. And I will pass this, and all feeback in this thread, onto Plarium.
Nerf is not a fun to go through with, but for clamining to do this for a reblanace and for the good of the game is still arguable, but fine. Do the nerf... (in this logic you could really nerf Seer, etc but yeah)
The real problem is that you then have to give the option to players to gain back the resources that they used (either through farming, hoarding or just buying stuff) and give the option to max the nerfed champion if they still want to. Its not that hard to do... you have all the formulas to quantify the progress made in sense of masteries, to give back chicken, to give back books applied...
Once more, not the nerf is the real problem, but the fact that you ignore the players put effort into leveling up and potentially maxing out something that you render semi-useless...
-in every game i played creators made changes when 1 champ/character was to OP
- such OP champs as Urogrim should not exist - 1 champ that can solo last lv of instance is just ...crazy. And i see that lots of people that are crying on nerfing him admit that he should be nerfed but...
- maybe you do not realize but every time when a champ is nerfed there are players that invested books , time, energy ...that is the risk that we assume in this game ( and not only here). And Plarium have no intrest to give posibility to recover those books/resotces as long as there are people that pay real money to get them.
- i saw guys complaining and writting that they play for 3 years ... cmon guys- how many time Plarium did the same in past? How many champions nerfed till now? You saw it only when was hitting you?
- you ( guys that spend like crazy to get some champions on some 2x, 10x events) are the real reason for Plarium behaviour. If you will stop it than Plarium will have no reason for those tricky games . Untill then they will continue to create OP champs , to put them in the game , to make "so called" 2x or 10x events ( and you will continue to feed their pockets) and to nerf the champ and then to start all over again and again
- Plarium didn't care about palyers ( or at least i didn't see any sign of it)! They just look for more and more oportunities to get our money . So (personal opinion) don't expect to soon dupe system, ingame refounds or compensations, honest CvC system....because is no intrest of Plarium on those things
Balancing champions is fine but such a champion already exists within the game for years. So, it's not really call for balance but rather a call to mitigate player's posibility to better (more efficiently) farm dungeons. You can farm 25 dungeons with rares so it should not matter if you can do it with 1,2 or 3 champions.
Also, somebody mentioned it's ez... it is not to easy to build Uro to farm solo. It's quite gear demanding.
This is a real problem..... this approach cause more problems like @marcusgoetz23 pointed out.
"the new epic dwarf looks promising.... like tons of posibilities....but if i go for her, build her and a team around her.... who will guarantee me, that she does not get the uro treatment the next day...."
As you already know Plarium do not bother inform or compensate players for their mistakes or their fishy/predatory marketing moves. So, nobody can guarantee you that next champion who you like, you invested in might be the very next one to be nerfed to the ground. Just because their analytics shows increase of usage or whatever the reason might be.
As a customer or better investor, we invest our money and TIME into a product, which is uncertain, can be changed in a way, where it loses it's value. If this is the case I guess there is no reason for me or any logical thinking human being to spend more time.
I absolutely fell in love with this game, with their arwork years ago but I can't and I don't want to invest anymore into something like that.
Every relationship is about trust. If you lose it then it's very hard to establish again. I've been witnessing plarium for several months to make their case worse and worse. Every patch has some problem. They do not flawlessly deliver update of their product. There is always a catch so it's not that good from customer perspective.
They focus more on short term strategy rather than building good, long relationship with their customers. It feels more like they apply their casino strategy into Raid. It works and might work for some time but evetnually, at some point they will hit the bottom. This is collectible game and not a slot machine, which they probably don't understand.
I do not know what is their strategy but it does not feel good from customer perspective. They quite often reply this and that is part of a bigger picture without showing their customer the picture.
Also, they mitigate damage from previous "upsies" by adding new content so they diminish the focus on problem like mediea do.
Therefore, this problem is not just about the Urogrim...I would say it's another double down as they do.
So, like that joke about applying for a job where the recruiter says "in 3 years your salary will be that high. And the job seeker replies: Okay, I will join in 3 years then".
A clan mate of mine said this, and I couldnt have said it better myself, so im going to copy and paste it:
The day this Urogrim nerf goes live without refund for books, masteries and chickens is the last day I have played this game.
This is straight out deception of the customers.
Release an overpowered Champ opposite to feedback of every content creator, let everyone invest and then nerf him massively?
They expect you to buy epic books in their store for 11 bucks, making this a wasted 150 bucks invest... and you are supposed to swallow this just like that... no way
Edited, there was no 10x event for Urogrim.
@mods - that's a fair edit. I thought it was a 10x as well but I pulled mine during the 2x.
I bought a shard pack for that too, hoping for Urogrim. Was super happy when I actually had good luck and pulled something I was looking for for a change!
Build him up asap and then this. So the rest of the points stand. There was ample time to decide if he was unblanced before release. Once the champ is released, the player base assumes that's a green light. Now what do I do if I finally pull a Seer? She speeds wave content up more than Urogrim did for me, should I invest my hard to gain resources and my time or should I sit tight until that nerf comes? And if it's a Urogrim style nerf, she'll be a vault champ.

I hope you see the problem here? yes?
Trust me, the mod team fully understands your concern.
My personal opinion about someone like seer is, she not only requires decent gear for lvl 24-25 dungeons, but she also requires a team around her. Def down/weaken and all the buffs you can squeeze onto her depending on your gear etc.
So I say this with fingers crossed, but I think someone like her is safe.
sometimes I have to wonder, if the people at plarium are just stupid....NOT the moderators here, you guys are really friendly and sound very reasonable and understanding about our justified anger :) ... if they just did a moderate nerf, say the a1 to double and one thing to the a3 ...people would have been disappointed and maybe a bit angry... but still happy about having a good-great champ.... and there would not have been this outrage, that is going on right now.... IF they still think he is OP....they then could have easily do one next little nerf on the next rebalancing in 3-4 months.... people would not like it and say remember, when that guy was really great??? ....but no ... from Hero to Zero.... Plarium deserves all the outrage coming to them....
Also, servers were restart... the new champs are ingame .... but none of the skill descriptions of the buffed / nerfed champs are updated .... WHY?????????
Trust me, the mod team fully understands your concern.

I would argue that Seer is demanding on gear overall. The only thing she needs are buffs + savage gear. I would say she is less demanding to gear up in order to do her job (clearing waves) than Urogrim.
Also, is it possible to verify with devs how is possible that Uro got such a fast treatment while Bad-El remains for such a long time untouched ? Since that kit is so broken that balance must be restored.
If anything, that argument with needed balance is so clumsy since there is much more broken champions which affect also pvp content. I don't mind to be proven wrong but arguments which were given are more than vague. It feels more like they insult inteligence of their customers.

I should have clarified the rest of my frustrations were aimed at Plarium in general and not the mods, cheers!

Okay then, I will come when your game is good.
Just 1 remark- is not normal to exist in this kind of game an champ that can solo some boss on final level of any instance . even if you do the 25th level with rares that should be team work.
Also shouldnt be a champ able to solo a team in the arena .
Because of that I strobgly consider that Plarium should nerf those champs any time when they do a mistake and create one in game .
But for the rest I totally agree with you!
Unfortunately for us Plarium is doing same things for years already . And people that are spending like crazy for nothing are encouraging this kind of behaviour.
Plarium is nerfing champions for years .
There are no ingame compensations for those situations.
There is no accident that they introduce champions that are realy realy nice and nerf them after a while. is just a way of making people to spend like crazy to get those champs. And people that are spending are just asking for more and more :))
There is no news that they do not announce the changes in due time .
I just dont understand people that continue to spend real money on nothing and after come here crying and asking for...
I play the game knowing all this stuff.... and acepting all the risk .
No more money will be wasted from me. I grind, level, fight, struggle, and invest and for what crappy toons that just laid around on the ground hoping for a res. I am done with wasting money!!!
