This is a pretty head-scratching event, I gotta be honest... They offer the "free" login champ, which is really only great for early (to mid) game players... Then make this wierd Titan event around it (for the 5* soul) that is so out of touch that no one who needs this champ will have the resources to get anyway...

And the ones who do have the resources to get the 5* soul, don't really need this Champ to begin with... What's the thought process here?

Champ is solid/good for early game/mid game even if just for FW - not to mention hard FW coming up. Players don't necessarily need to grab the 5*, but the best non soul rewards kinda want you to push up to the last leg.

For those of us who can get him easier, often gonna be a case of wanting stuff like the primal, mythic book, etc. and some of the tourneys/events so far have had relevant rewards for mid to late game and end game. 

Still really not a fan of having a Titan event around a login champ that's usually given a 5* soul for free as well.  Titan event for Lydia or Lamasu soul would have been much better / more appropriate.

Or Embrys like they did with Mikage last year.  

Not surprised it wasn't Embrys since I imagine many people still don't have him.  Would really really like a soul for mine.

Definitely true that a lot of peeps don't have Embrys yet, but I would think that most everyone would chase an awakening for a Mythical that they will eventually have.....seems more enticing overall than chasing an awakening for a mid-tier Lego Reviver that should have been free to everyone.

Whatever.  I am doing the Titan Event all the way to 1500.  I have not managed to miss any points yet, so I can skip the Champ Chase....except that I want to pull Embrys.

I am fairly certain that I have done every Titan Event all the way to the Mythical Book, which is always just one step away from the last Split, so it is dumb not to finish.  I don't find Titan Events to be difficult, but they sure are a grind and a half.

On the other had, I have a clanmate who hates Titan Events and does not finish them, and I regularly see late-game  players in Arena that lack the 5* awakenings on toons like Armanz & WuKong....

Those are wannabe late gamers aka reddit endgame 😆  free wins

I can probably predict with 95% accuracy whether I will win or lose based on the blessing levels and blessing choices of the opponents before battle starts.

This is kind of what I was getting at. For older accounts - even F2P/low spend -  that manage resources I think it's been a (mostly) trivial endeavor. Especially with 2/4 and soon to be 3/5 fusions this year just being meh/bad.
