There should be a more thorough explanation as to what is needed to be done in order to do the fusions since they change from being done in different ways and how many shards are actually required in order to proceed with the fusion. I feel like mobile players have a restrained view of what is needed to be done in order to achieve.
IMO, the structure of all the events in this fusion is designed to be as punishing as possible. This is the sort of structure I expected last year for the OP Armanz, but I was pleasantly surprised by that fusion structure. Examples:
(1) They set up the Champ Training Event with no overlap with either Summoning Event, which forces people to pull shards for training fodder without earning any summoning points. This is a new dirty gotcha that happens when they start Fusions on Mondays.
(2) There is only one Dungeon Tourney that lines up with each DD, which means that finsihing each of the DDs will require burning a lot of extra energy....and there is no DD overlap with Spider, which is the Dungeon that people complain less about grinding extra on due to the extra silver earned.
(3) The SR Epic is at 6100 SR points, which I believe is the highest point threshold ever for a Fusion Epic.
Plarium is definitely screwing us for their 6th Anniversary.

I agree with everything. But pulling today for epic allows skipping the remaining DD so not a big deal for me. I dipped into void savings for chance at senna... no luck of course. But my shard counts are all still very high. Ill probably still do chase since I have to fuse epics and pull lamasu.

I hate the constant escalation of Fusion Difficulty, and I don't really get it. Plarium should want people engaged with Fusions. It keeps people playing and most likely spending, but making Fusions tougher and tougher seems like it will convince more people to not do them. I have end-game clanmates that have quit doing fusions almost entirely. I have already decided that I am skipping the next one unless he/she is totally bonkers.
As for this one, I will pull a dozen golds trying for Elva and then I won't burn the energy to finish DD2 & DD3, and then skip FK and either Champ Chase or Champ Training.

I think it's just inflation, but my resource acquisition seems to be pacing ahead of the cost side of the equivalent. Call me a bootlicker or whatever, but unless you are terrible at resource management (easier for long-term player of course) resource constraints have disappeared. Time is my only constraint.

I don't just look at it from the perspective of my account or accounts like mine (yours). We have been playing for 5+ years. A lot of the resource aquistition is on autopilot (CB, DT, 75% of Sintanos).....plus neither of us probably need this toon....I actually use fewer than 50% of the Fusions I have completed. Fusion completion is also on autopilot most of the time.
It seems to me that the future success of the game needs to come from the mid-game players, the people who do actually need this Fusion, but they are the accounts that truly get punished by the constant escalation in requirements.

The future of the game is new spenders, plenty of usfree loaders already.
You can't play this game as f2p anymore and expect to progress quickly enough to be "happy". Spend or quit.... that's the biz model
And while agree with you, accounts get punished more by wasting resources. The discipline required is pretty high.
Do we even now that it will be a Path Event? I have not seen anything announced. Last year at the Anniversary, the Armanz awakening was a Titan Event. Would not surprise me if we had one of those.
Nothing that I've seen and there's nothing in the Plarium calendar as of now, either.
Now that people are pulling him, are we sure the Path event will be points for summon shards? I'm assuming yes but given how OP he is I wouldn't be surprised if Plarium pulled some nonsense where it's Soul Shards for points instead of summon ones...
I'm more suspecting a Titan Event

I dont really track target scores etc, so i will have to take your word for it that the requirements are getting higher.
Speaking personally, i finished this fusion well ahead of the target date by getting the epic in summon rush and already have enough sacreds saved up to do the next fusion if i wanted to (although i suspect we will have a titan event for the soul).
The point i am trying to make is that the fusions dont actually feel harder
The few titan events i have completed however? ...brutal.
