Exactly so. Lydia is a temporary stopgap at best since her revive denial has such a long cooldown

I am surprised that is giving enough accuracy for arena to be honest so when i do build him i am unsure whether to go all out speed/accuracy or do a hybrid damage/accuracy build.
Holy good god. You think that the people that missed out on UDK cry. The ones that will miss this one will be on the forums all the time talking about not having this champion. I will have to see the base stats but this guy will be on almost every single PvP team.
I have to think that Palarium built this kit to combat PvP team designed around defense. The thing is is if you have one of these teams they are going to ban this guy all the time in live arena. Not sure if it will help much there.
A steal buffs and block buffs for 2 turns on a 3 turn cooldown? This should shorten matches quite a bit. I guess debuffs will be everything for a while. I will be increasing the speed on my Ronda I think to try to block this champions skills as quickly as possible. I also see all of my PvP champions switching to lightening cage.

Yep. He'll be the way to handle Taras and Harima for me, or get rid of the UDK protecting some other annoying champ so that I can handle the team.
I have been play testing this guy even with him still at level 50 he makes a statement. He isn't the gamebraker that I hoped, but he will definately make an impact against certain teams. As noted above, accuracy is going to be your priority. He isn't worth a damn if his effects can't land. That and if he dies he comes back up with a full turn meter. One thing to keep in mind is that if the other team has champions with full turn meters, the Monkey King will have to wait his turn. This means that he can be put right back down again or have his skills blocked.
He hits a lot harder than I would have thought given his kit. He is kind of like UDK in that regard where against certain teams you are startled when UKD does massive damage because they built him out that way. Still, when it comes to damage there are better options. Accuracy and then speed are the way that people are going to want to go with this guy. I know everyone is excited about the sheep, and it really helps, but the remove and block debuffs is probably my favorite talent of his. I suppose though that is because I don't have a great go-first team. I am sure people are looking at the Monkey King as a way to make their go-first team viable again.
Just an FYI that Rhonda's block passive keeps Wukong down. I had two matches where I opened up with Rhonda where I hit him with Rhonda to block his skills and it killed Wukong and he didn't get back up.

It does make sense due to Wukong dying as a vanilla champ with no passive, essentially. An example: Lydia functions the same if she dies with her block passives on as she wont block revives/self revive.

Yep, and it doesn't need to be consecutive days in a row either. Just need to finish up the logins before I believe October 22nd, need to double check that date though.
