📍 There's a lot happening here at Mech Arena HQ. We've got some exciting new content in the works, along with an array of updates to keep the game fresh and challenging for everyone. Here's what's coming up:
1️⃣ More variants of our hottest new Legendary Weapons are on the way. Pod Guns 6 and 12, as well as Particle Beams 10 and 16 will be available across upcoming Events. Watch out for an all-new Legendary Assault Weapon and Pilot too.
2️⃣ We'll soon be making adjustments to the following Weapons:
🔸 Arc Torrents:
Optimal Range will increase for all variants (0-15m → 0-30m), and - along with Max Range - will remain the same across all Ranks.
It will be possible to increase Max Range with Implants, but there will be Damage falloff beyond Optimal Range.
Damage per Magazine will also be adjusted (Provided numbers - Damage per Magazine for the Rank 6 Level 7 Weapon. The Damage per Magazine adjustments for other Weapon Ranks/Levels are proportional).
🔸 Disc Launchers
Damage beyond Optimal Range will be decreased. Splash Damage will be reduced the further enemies are from its point of impact, and Splash Damage will no longer be able to deal increased Damage to the sides and rears of Mechs.
🔸 Nade Launchers
Damage will be increased (Provided numbers - Damage per Magazine for the Rank 6 Level 7 Weapon. The Damage per Magazine adjustments for other Weapon Ranks/Levels are proportional).
🔸 Cryo Launchers
Damage will be increased (Provided numbers - Damage per Magazine for the Rank 6 Level 7 Weapon. The Damage per Magazine adjustments for other Weapon Ranks/Levels are proportional).
🔸 Miniguns
Damage will be increased (Provided numbers - Damage per Magazine for the Rank 6 Level 7 Weapon. The Damage per Magazine adjustments for other Weapon Ranks/Levels are proportional).
🔸 Chain Guns
Damage will be increased (Provided numbers - Damage per Magazine for the Rank 6 Level 7 Weapon. The Damage per Magazine adjustments for other Weapon Ranks/Levels are proportional).
3️⃣ We're hard at work on a new PvE Campaign, soon to be made available to all players. We're just finalizing the details, but we can announce that it will feature one of our Legendary Attacker Mechs! Although this Campaign will be aimed at experienced players, it'll be possible for players at all stages of their Mech Arena journey to get a taste of the action.
4️⃣ A new set of Modifiers will come into effect soon for all players. These include numerous Weapon Modifiers, and one that increases the chance to receive Legendary Implants.

Overall good update.
AT's and DL's in their current state are nothing more than "I win buttons". AT's with a mech that stuns is an uncouterable combo that when stunned equals a guaranteed kill with no counter play. DL's allow people to just sit back and lob dics across the map while still applying full AoE damage with full bonus damage on the back and sides.
Those complaining about the AT and DL nerfs are people who too heavly relied on those weapons to win or didn't fully comprehend the risks of paying to win, that sometimes those weapons you paid for might get nerfed like in any other game.
Sounds like you don't know how to fight or use a Disc Launcher. First of all, Arc Torrents have already been a bit overshadowed by the Ember Gun, Arcs don't do burst DMG, Ember Gun does. And if your mad that weaker players with more skill beat you with Discs because they know how to use them (like me), maybe get better at the game.
Half the players seem to complain about to complain about Discs being overpowered. And yes, they are strong and need a small nerf (but removing side and back dmg is too extreme, the other 2 nerfs are fine). But there are also players in it that hate Discs because are just bad at the game and don't know how to use a Disc and get beaten by players that are more skilled than them. I see players sometimes stand still behind a wall and do nothing while i'm sending a full magazine of Discs trough, like, ofcourse your gonna die if you do nothing. When i get attacked by a player that knows how to use them (very rare case) i look at the splashes so DMG i get gets reduced and i move away to a location i don't get hit.
Understand the weapon first before you can complain.
It's not really about being ok with the practice of company A releases strong X item then company A nerfs it after people have dumped lots of money into it.
It's about that if you're goin to get into these certain kind of P2W games you have to understand this is how its done and if you don't like that then don't play these kinds of games.
I fully understand that when i get into a game like this and put money into it, that at any time the stuff I bought could get nerfed (or cards that get banned in TCGs) and all that money just gets wasted i understand that and accept that risk.
I remember spending about $250 building a yugioh deck just for a month later when the new ban list came out and the core cards in that deck got banned and that deck became unplayable agaisnt the meta decks without those cards. yeah i was upset but I also knew that's just how the cookie crumbles when playing a TCG like yugioh that sometimes the cards you spend 100's of dollars on can get banned or an errata gets put out that completely nerfs them.
If you're uncomfortable with that or don't accept those risks then these games aren't for you and you shouldn't be playing them.
you are right, I shouldnt be playing these games, I usually dont, mech arena was the first and the last after it looked interesting in a youtube sponsorship, but it introduced me to all these scummy practices, now I know better and I wont be playing these games anymore.
there is a reason why people we looking forward to nft games since they come with full ownership over what you pay for, but that is another topic all together.
I will stick to the usual game that has no microtransactions.
Well let's see... Now we'll have to get started with Pod Guns and then throw them away after 2 years because the developers will want to nerf them. As is the case with discs launchers currently. You're saying that 99% of players who use these weapons... Are going to have to throw them away?? After investing hundreds of euros to improve them?? You're just disgusting the players! Do you understand the magnitude of what you are doing??? I enjoy this game immensely, but at some point, enough is enough!
Thanks for your comprehension.

I just miss the OG mech arena. you released the redesign, that was good and all (not the music tho), but afterwards lots of useless new mechs and weapons that litterally are COPIES of old mechs and weapons got put in to the game! let's take the example with shotguns and fragment guns: its THE SAME! also the bots have all these new weapons that almost no real player even has! i've played this game well over 4 years and it is much worse than it were. i wish that mech arena also could be more skill-based, not that if you have the best hangar and have spent lots of money on it you win all the matches easy peasy. thats why for example Fortnite does it much better. the in-game purchases are just cosmetics and you actually have to be good at the game to win. also let's say that you spent money on buying the stasis beam. now its not even worth using it! because all the new weapons override it in damage, reload and most else things. i bought Orion with Javelin Rack 8's with real money. now (with orion ability activated) it takes very little damage. before it was an op weapon & mech combination. why do you decrease the damage on the Arc Torrents and Disc Launchers, they are crucial for players who dont use money on mech arena.
cant u have like OG mevh arena or something? that would be really cool.
hope you listen to us and dont think about money all the time. that would help draw lots of new players to the game!
(Splash Damage will be reduced the further enemies are from its point of impact, and Splash Damage will no longer be able to deal increased Damage to the sides and rears of Mechs. ).. Do you mean that Damage Radius will not be effective anymore?... i suggest that you please do not change the stats of any weapon we have in our inventory, specially disc launcher because we spend money for that to upgrade it to the max. If any one complain about the ability of this weapon, i also suggest to him to buy it so that he can also enjoy playing the game using disc launcher. I hope the admin will consider it.
Em Rifle Don't Need A Nerf But RailGun Definitely Needs A Nerf Because His Op Damage.
Hey, them nerfing AT or DL is really just them wanting to change the old gameplay that most players impose too much. It doesn't matter if the plarium is in the hand of Railgun or EM, think about it, Railgun bullets have a recovery time of 9 seconds while EM bullets only have a recovery time of more than 5 seconds, certainly not including mounting Implants reduce reload time and of course EM's damage will be higher when these two weapons are of the same type and level. And you know, no one will play mech arena with a sniper gun for close range play, so this is not necessary. If you lose in a duel, you will have a skill issue

Sounds like you don't even understand why they where nerfed and just want to moan about your OP weapons no longer being usable.
AT's strenght is that they recharge instead of reload meaning if you manage your ammo you can fire limitlessly and apply constant long range damage when they were meant to be close range weapons ON TOP OF the fact that they chain to nearby enemies. Combine that with an AoE stun and it just pushes the weapon over the edge.
DL's apply full AoE damage PLUS FULL back and side bonus damage even outside of their optimal range, need I say more.
So it sounds like I understand the weapons more than you do BUT hey none of that matter BECAUSE they are getting nerfed and nothing you say or no matter how hard you try to cope, is going to change that.

Oh i understand why Discs are getting nerfed, they are broken. I'm fine with the optimal range nerf and the splash distance nerf, i only have a problem with the Side and Back removal.
I don't really understand the Arc nerf, aside from maybe the range nerf, it is a close range weapon. The DMG nerf is just throwing salt on the wound. As stated by both Scape211 and RuFFles, Arc Torrents already have fallen a bit off due to lack of burst DMG. Scape211 even said that Fragment Gun might be equal to the Arcs. Ember Gun are basicaly better than the Arcs. Scape211 said that the DMG nerf is going to make Frags even better than the Arc.
I'm not sure why so many people are surprised; old meta was still too useful, they want new meta to sell.
As for the splash damage on discs, it's not like they're not going to still do damage, users just don't get the bonus damage on misses anymore. That's locked behind the current paywall.
No doubt nades, launcher, and pods are all on sale now! 😂
This Disc and Arc "adjustment" is way more bad than acceptable.
Adjusting a new weapon could be fine, but touching old and widely used weapons is actually disrespectful and just pure robbery.
You are taking away my old guns power without reason or any compensation, and I hate it.
The good news is the funny podguns or disruptors—this is buzzing the gameplay in a good way, and I'm happy to pay a few bucks regurarly to finance this game and am looking for more new ideas and concepts—except Seeker, what is a big mistake!
I hope you have ears to listen to what the community says.

It was kinda cheesy to still get bonus damage on the back and sided when you missed the target, you shouldn't get rewarded for making a mistake.
AT's could be in a fine spot with or without adjustments but over all they have been meta for a long time and eventually a company does have to forcefully change the meta or risk the game getting stale.
You could just leave old stuff alone and powercreep the new weapons but then you mess with the average TTK (time to kill) and eventually every new weapon just one shots everthing.
So in order to not harm the TTK of the game you have to lower the damage on older weapons in order to justify adding new weapons and allowing the new weapons to have their meta time in the sun.
There are varier ways to have a system like this some games have seasonal rotations where certain items/weapons/cards arn't allowed then next season they rotate back in.
Instead of doing that Plarium just goes for nerfs. No one is saying that these items will stay nerfed, a year or so down the road they may buff them again to bring them back but for now then new items take priority.
I really like how @CrystalDrew summed up the changes to discs and arcs:
"Now, Arc Torrents and Disc Launchers will require some skills from a player."
Classic Plarium. 😂

Hello! I've already explained what I meant. Surely, I didn't mean that currently, these Weapons don't require skills. Nonetheless, after the rebalance, Arc Torrents and Disc Launchers will require unusual approaches, new strategies and tactics
