Controller fans rejoice - native gamepad support is coming to Mech Arena on all platforms.
Players on iOS, PC, and Mac will be able to play with Xbox One, Xbox Series, DualShock 4, or DualSense controllers. Android users can choose between Xbox One, Xbox Series, and DualShock 4 controllers, with DualSense support currently in the works.
To ensure you can play the way you want to, we've also included some new options to the Controls screen under your Profile. You'll find gamepad sensitivity here, alongside camera sensitivity for Android and iOS users, and mouse sensitivity for PC and Mac.
To let you know that a controller is detected, you will now see a controller icon in the corner of the "BATTLE" button in your Hangar. However, please note that controllers can only be used in Battles for now. To browse the Hangar, Inventory, and other menus, please use the regular touch screen or mouse, depending on the platform you're using.
That's all for now. Until next time, go plug in a pad and blow up some giant mechs!
Have been using a dualshock 4 on Android and sporadically the right stick won't work. I'll drop the game and the stick works elsewhere, but not Mech Arena. Killing game then turning cycling Bluetooth fixes the issue, but it's a pain in the rear to drop into a Tournament to find I can't aim.
Otherwise, I'm loving it!
