I think the bigger problem is the over powered weapons on the Eclipse... the Revoker.  You take away the revoker and the Eclipse becomes more managable and more balanced.   

I agree the Eclipse is the counter for stun mechs and that in itself is not real overpowered, without Revokers you have several counters including the crash mechanic.  Crash does nothing vs the revoker.

Agreed—Eclipse feels overpowered in Hanger Showdown. Its short cooldown and speed boost make counters weak. Balancing cooldowns or ability effects could help make all legendary mechs equally viable. 

Guardian can help with eclipes 

Yeah this is similar to what I wrote in a reply to the rebalance announcement post. The devs should look at the whole package. Yes Eclipse is super strong and is the first pick in most games, but let's not forget that it's Eclipse+revoker that is the first pick. Nerf accordingly. The other thing to factor in is other game modes. Making decisions that make things more balanced in hangar showdown but less so in other modes is not the way to go.

I have eclipse from the crate rush, but it's not super good unless you get revokers. Revokers, Surge, Nomad, and Seeker are broken.

I've enjoyed it with overdriver, mini gun and pod gun.

By the way recently I've been seeing a sort of semi SP dropping, even at around 5k SP. Rank 6 Eclipses + revokers with full mods, and the rest of the hangar less spectacular. Total domination in FFA. I don't consider that a problem with Eclipse per se, but a problem with their matchmaking and tacit acceptance of SP dropping. But I mention it because it is probably one reason why people think Eclipse is more broken than it actually might be. 

Hanger showdown is such a unique situation. Some of what I say about Eclipse is probably attributed to people with 4 gold mods and dual revoker 10s or 12s. Being i have only 1 legendary mech with 3 mods, and the rest 5 stars, I generally get killed before I get through their shield.

Don't tell me to drop to league 2. I still get more rewards at league 1.

You shouldn't be in league 1 with only one legendary mech and all others 5 star with no mods, league 1 is for all legendary mech with purple 7 stars and with all 4 mods and 12s or 16s weapons, so you'll definitely be beat nearly every time in league 1 with your hanger

So either drop down a league or stop complaining,

the point of any game is for things to be more powerful than other things so us advanced players can use them, not our fault ur hanger is low, it's ur fault for playing in league 1 when league 1 is for advanced players

Exactly, I kill every eclipse easy with my maxed nomad an two ember 12s, 2 or 3 shots and a smash an they're gone, eclipse is quite weak tbh when it comes to high power weapons, if anything it needs hp buffing
